Happy New Years everyone! Hope everyone's doing well so far. I'm new here, just signed up yesterday. : )
Here's just my rant on the worst thing that happened to me in 2011. I don't normally dicuss things like this on a public forum but everyone seems so nice here, I though it can't hurt.
In October of 2011, me and my sister Elaine went on vacation to Puerto Rico to celebrate her birthday. I booked a hotel that was recommended it us by some friends. We stayed of about 1 week and a half just hanging out and going around shopping. Something went wrong with our engine so we were stuck in traffic for hours. We finally came back to our hotel to only discover that things were missing. Our suit cases were obviously rummaged through and a few things we knocked over. We both took a look around to see if anything was missing. Her gold jewelery and her favorite watch was missing, my bag with all my credit cards, passport, and all my money was also gone too. It was one of the worst feelings we've ever felt. Not only what was stolen from me, but my sister also. I was the one who planned the trip so I felt even more awful. We had got a call from the shop a while later that our engine was tampered with (obviously we were targeted).
After long hours of tears, anger, and fear, we called home. It was a lot of trouble getting back too since I was without a passport. We were really embarrassed to have to call our parents to ask for money to fly back home. It's only been a few months and we are slowly getting our life back together. Selling some of our small trinkets helped a a bit too (thank god for the Internet lol)
If you have any stories of the worst (hopefully none) or bad experiences you've had in 2011, feel free to share if you'd like. Sorry for all the negativity. 2012 is a new year and we're trying our best to start over!

It was really sudden and we had no idea he had any health issues, he was so perfect and it just seemed like he had a cold. We were together for three years, had the same birthday etc. I started seeng someone (his good friend actually) and found out that I was cheated on. 2011 was a nightmare.... keep strong everyone ;( life is rough...
