Yikes! I dropped a 15 pan :(

So I was at work yesterday and I usually have to use our makeup line but I was doing a bridal practice for a friend so I snuck my MAC in, and I'm getting out my one 15 pan that has some of my warmer shades like Casino, Lustreleaf, Lucky Green, Plumage, etc. and my work station is not very big and kind of crowded and I went to put it on the counter and Boom! I dropped my 15 pan all over! My Plumage broke in a million pieces which landed on my other colors, like Lustreleaf which is now streaked with dark green all over it. Expensive Pink broke too and I have a huge chip in Love Bud. Lucky Green and Casino were spared thank god because I use those all the time and I managed to get most of the Plumage dust off my lighter colors Goldbit and Naked Lunch. Then when I was unpacking everything at home the remnants of Plumage chips that I thought I cleaned all up got on my beige carpet and took me a good 40 minutes to get all off and there's still some tiny stains that won't come out. I used to love Plumage but now it's my most hated color ever!

That`s exactly why I don`t have a 15 pan, only 4 pans! I thought it would be safer this way. If I forgot it somewhere, or if it felt on the floor, or if someone robbed me, it would be only 4 lost, not 15!!! Maybe I am just a little neurotic about my stuff, hehe.

Aw, that sucks. But that's exactly why I don't have any 4- or 15-pans. I'd be so scared of dropping them.

when i thought I could still get away with leaving mine out in the bathroom-with two toddlers.... mine was dropped and contrast,bark,andpink venus broke...that was it.
I went out and got a case that i can lock

Well, on the bright side at least you can easily replace the ones that broke. Well, it maybe a little harder to track down Love Bud.

OMG this same thing happened to me Lucky for me I just have some huge chips in some pro pan e/s but I know how you feel getting the shawdow out of the carpet can be a true nitemate

Man, I did that once when I was first getting into mac and it TOTALLY sucks. I was in a rush to get to class and was doing some final makeup work. I got a call as I was putting a little more color on my lids and -BAM-. Thankfully the only thing that was beyond repair was prose n fancy (which I hate anyway), but it took a HUGE chunk out of orange tangent (one of my faves

), and a little, barely noticeable, piece out of swimming. And the palette kind of doesnt shut but I'm too lazy/cheap to get another one when it still sort of works, so right now it's holding the colors I can't stand.

Haha but I have a history of breaking my makeup, I can't even tell you how many ud e/s were destroyed back in the day. As for my broken MAC: my mom (who never wears makeup) decided that she knows how to depot better than me (yeah, right), and basically gutted say yeah! with a pair of scissors b/c she thought she could pry the e/s free (alcohol = amazing thing). And then my cat's tail knocked over and destroyed naked you (but I got another one for retail right after... haha in um late May), and i spilled dazzleray all over my vanity, but it only looks like a 1/4 teaspoon was taken out (thank god b/c I decided right before that it was going to be great for work).

Yeah, I win.

ive broken plumage twice now *hides* mine occured during depotting and broke both times and this is the only eyeshadow this has ever happened to!

Mine too. It broke at the hinges on one side.
I have my least fave's in there. I have two other 15 pans,but I will not replace that one b/c it works mostly,and I just can't dump it.

Awww, I'm so sorry. I've only broken one shadow, and I only had like, 3 MAC shadows at the time so of course I was bawling over it, so I know a little bit of how you feel.

Ooop, I recently filled my first-and-a-half 15-pan (slow going, I know!) and I'm always so paranoid of dropping them, I treat them glass! Just the fear of dropping mine makes me feel for you! I hope you can track down Lovebud for a good price and Lustreleaf's damage wears off. =T
