Yikes. Prom!

I need help.

I'm short, so I think that a shorter prom dress would work best for me. But people keep telling me that a short dress is too informal. Can somebody help me to find a solution? Some place that carries short dresses that are still pretty, and formal for a prom?
I've looked through some but none seem to particularly tickle my fancy.
Originially I kind of liked this with diamond jewelry and smokey makeup or something. I have no idea! I'm compeltely clueless.

Thank youu for your help. =]

the thing about going with a short dress is that you have to rely on your accessories to make it more formal.

Fun/formal accessories will make or break a short dress.

I love that dress!

I agree with Shimmer, if you dress it up with fancier accessories (don't go overboard though, or it will cheapen the dress)

For that dress, I would go for fancy chandelier earrings and maybe a bracelet, I like the neckline and would not wear a necklace. I think if you put your hair up in a fancy chignon and wore elegant heels it would be great for prom.

of course these are just my suggestions though, and you should play around with the accessories to see what you like best. =]

Yeah! I was thinking along the lines of that to. I wanted to wear my hair up and wear chandelier earrings, but i was thinking a necklace instead of a bracelet. I will take your advice and do the bracelet&earrings though. That sounds better to me.
Thanks very much!

Sweetie, get what looks great on you, and damn everyone else! Just rock it, and they'll eat their hearts out. Remember: there are no real rules in fashion or make-up!
