your favourite Nars eyeshadow duo

which is your favourite eye shadow duo?
For me it has to be Tokyo duo, followed by Cleo duo

I am hoping to get more nars duo but i can only buy them online (Nars is not available where I live), so any advice from all of you here will be greatly appreciated!

Well, I have all the duos (all) and the ones I use most are Portobello, Bellisima, India Song, Underworld, Violetta, Stage Beauty, Kalahari,South Pacific, Sugarland and Iceland. Those I have replaced atleast twice in a year, Stage Beauty I have gone through three in a year.The singles that should be duos are Blondie and Bengali, two perfect matte browns.

My personal favs are Rated R, Mediterranee, Iceland, Balthazar, Pandora, Persepolis...

I'll give you some suggestions though. When doing makeovers I usually use Portobello, Alhambra, Key Largo and All About Eve for softer more natural looks. Any of these duos look great on multiple skin tones, with All About Eve being the softest and Key Largo being the deepest and Portobello is totally matte.

For makeovers with more color I love using Balthazar (these colors together rock and the gold from this duo with Night Clubbing single looks amazing!), Violetta, Surabaya , Bellydance...

Truth is, you can't go wrong with any NARS shade. The colors are a lot more vibrant and beautiful then they appear online too. If you need any help or suggestions, let me know!

Habanera hands down - failproof for a bit of color...also love star sailor and key largo!

Try Habanera with Iceland. Or Iceland with Island Fever.
I like to match the Sugarland Duo with the South Pacific Duo. Looks like the Hawaiian Sunset (when you can see it through the vog ).

Bellisima is matte and if you like Portabello, you will love Bellisima, its in the taupey neutral world that reminds me of the shadows Angelina Jolie wears. Its classic and looks good on everyone, just like Portabello. Blondie and Bengali are matte browns in the singles section and are gorgeous too!

I haven't had any money to be the more recent, but I totally want:

Well, since I only have four of the duos, I can't give *the* most accurate opinion..But I will say I fell in LOVE with India Song...I HAD to have it when I saw it, and I was not let down. The brown in India Song has got to be, hands down, 150% THE most beautiful rich, shimmering brown I've ever seen in an eyeshdow. I can't say I really use the accompanying color very much (it's a soft vanilla hi-light)..It doesn't seem to show up very much on me, but I'll bet on darker skin tones it's very nice. That being said, it's worth getting India Song just for the brown...

The other duo's I've been coveting (well, I'd like ALL of them, but the ones I want the most) are Mediteranee, Kalihari, Paris, and Bohemian Gold).

Anyway, in MY opinion, no matter WHAT you get, you simply cannot go wrong with NARS duos...Or, in fact NARS anything!! BTW, their cream shadows are to DIE for!

I only have one- Iceland. I wear it at least 3 times a week. I used to wear it more on top of other shadows to change them or highlight them. Now I almost always smudge the green side along the inner half of the lower lashline. The green glow is unreal. And it looks great with Cool Heat collection. Or Parrot.

Wish list is Alhambra, Portobello for neutrals. Belly Dance (green/purple) and Demon Lover (blue/indigo) for colors.

Nars has some of the most amazing color combos around.

I have been on a green kick for a while so my fave duo is Blade Runner (superb pigmentation) and Fuji from singles.

Rated R is amazing. Both shades are beautiful and very pigmented. But then it depends on your color preference. If you like bright and bold colors then this duo is a must.
