So, my husband welds & is pretty handy with building things - he's turning an old garment rack from Macy's (I happpen to have in my bedroom, it's very cool) into a vanity for me complete with outlets, lights & mirrors.
So I want to ask him when he's done to create a convenient holder/display for my makeup since I have a hard time seeing and getting to some of my stuff in my traincase. I'm thinking shelves tall enough to hold a shadow or pigment & very shallow so I can stand them on their sides so the label or top faces out. Then some kind of attached cup or slots for eyeliners/pencils/mascaras etc.... Plus varying height and sized shelves for other items such as blush, beauty powders and such.
What else would you want built in?
I'm drawing a bit of a blank right now and want to draw up a rough sketch to show him.
