I'm laughing at myself b/c I'm still stuck on the duo and you all are on the blushes and lippies. I'm ignoring everything for now, I'm just here to look at swatches.
Hi Pretty!!! I hope things are better for you. Take your time getting caught up!!!

Personally, I'm terrible at returning makeup, especially used. Even if I hated it, I feel awful and guilty. I just sent back CD Cosmo pink to Sephora, and I feel sick about it. Maybe I'm just weird, though.
No you're not. I have that issue too. I returned a Chanel NP because the store took it upon themselves to substitute what I wanted that was not available, with another
NP. Problem is I already had that one. That pissed me off----so I returned it!!!! I'll decide what I want, not what a merchant deems to be a suitable dupe. Who does that?

Got the blush duos. I think some people may not like them as they are quite sheer, but buildable. They work fine on me & the shades are very pretty. I had a really hard time getting the swatches to show for the pics. Really, really love the pink  Plum - dusty neutral mauve pale plum Pink - violet toned blue pink
I want to love these, but so far not so much. At least not for $65. I also was able to somewhat dupe the promo eye look using Tarte After Dark of all things.

The plum ombre reminds me of the Chanel blush last Spring of the flower imprint in it. The pink one reminds me of a Chanel blush, but haven't had time to compare and contrast.
That's Chanel Le Jardin De Chanel Powder Blush Camelia Rose

Thank you so much for the swatches, I am especially loving the violet toned Pink one!

No disrespect to anyone liking the ombres, but I'm so perplexed by them. They don't look like anything. And I think I would look like I have pink eye if I used some of them on my eyelids. I'm bad at makeup.

ETA: oops, posted at the same time as @elegant-one. this was not directed at your swatch post.
I don't know if this is a trend or not but Dior released some palettes that were quite shear and people
complained, I think because we're conditioned to thinking highly pigmented is best. Upon reading the literature
with one of the palettes I quickly learned that they were intended to be that way. When I used the palette in
accordance w/those instructions, I understood---I got it. That palette is now one of my favorites.

HA! I'm soooooooooo offended.................NOT!

It's funny because the light side has just as much of the color pigment on my skin. They are incredibly sheer on the eyelids. I only liked the plum on my eyelids.
I'm getting excited about them because I have been liking a light wash of color on my eyes lately as a "look" w/o all of the crease definition etc. Just simple, light and
pretty----a little color, eyeliner on the lid (sometimes) and lashes for days.

Me too! I don't know why i have a soft spot for these ombres. The light wash has me a little excited bc in my mind it reads as "fresh, pretty and easy." At least that's what I'm hoping for

I hear what you're saying. I have some Clarins eyeshadows that I love b/c I can start off slowly and build up as I choose. Most people don't like them though for that very reason. On the other hand, I've been going through my collection recently and weeding out blushes that don't show up or are too much work getting them to show up. For me and my way of applying makeup, I think I have less tolerance for this type of product in a blush. I want to see it and not after 80 brush swipes. And if it's an extremely pigmented blush, I'll just use a more delicate brush.

:frenz: I am really loving that one on. Its a VERY pretty natural pink flush. So far the wear time has been very good on me, no fading.
That's really great news, I'm so glad you're loving it! That's exactly what I was hoping for, a natural, fresh & pretty look from these!
