Ok, I got my Chanel box and I'm pretty excited. I got standard shipping and I wasn't expecting it until next week. I know for many of you Flamboyante and Coquette are old news, but they went right over my head until I saw them on Temptalia and I just want to post a pic of me wearing both to help out my fellow clueless Chanel lovers. I really need to stay on top of things. I love both. What I love the most is that both of them can be layered. It can be nice and light or you can deepen the color with more layers and they are SO comfortable on the lips. I see coral in both of them and that always makes me happy. Coquette Flamboyante I got a little card that mentioned the Rouge Coco Shines. I'm going to do some searches now and see what they're all about.

LOL! I actually didn't wait -- I tried that sucker on!! I think it is the most amazing girly pink! That makeup I already had on kinda clashes with it, but oh well! I think I'll try it with a cool toned pink blush like Pink Swoon tomorrow. I was so excited to see it today because I wasn't expecting it until next week -- woo hoo!

It really is one the best pinks ever & I'm so happy that you like it. yeah, UPS barely has a chance to delivery my MU & I'm rippng the boxes open & wearing it....geesh, signs of an addict I think

Elegant -- I almost didn't open the door because I thought it was a sales person. Then I saw it was the mail carrier and I ran through the house to get it before they left (I had to sign for it). So glad I didn't miss the delivery of my very pretty (and spendy) lipstick!!

Bonitinha, when you use Joyeuse, don't just think plums/burgundies/pinks.. go for copper/bronze/gold and mix it up with pink too. Also Beagle blush with this ls works beautifully with a nude/brown/taupey eye.

Bonitinha -- no, it's just that our minds are trained to see colours along "family" or familiar lines.. i.e. pinks with plums, burgundies, blues, berry, grey. and not in cross lines.. lol.

I do all of the above with Joyeuse.. I have worn it with grey eyes, with plum and also with a copper/rose eye.. and it looks just right... it's a great neutral pink.

It's hard to find true greys. Dior spring 2011 is grey/taupe theme and I have the grey quad - the dark grey at the top right isn't silvery or blue, I like it. You can check out the single grey shadow too. I can't remember how it was like when I swatched it.

I did a "smoky" copper look with pink lips (Mac's "Victorian" from last year's Spring collection) and it got me a ton of compliments. It's definitely a colour combination I like.
