Maybe I should go look to see if I bought it and forgot....

Edit: I searched my old posts and you are right that I bought it. I vaguely remember it now after looking at Sabrina's swatches but I must have fallen out of love with it because I definitely don't have it anymore. Sorry I can't help on that comparison.

Just got Desir and Jalousie! They are both so gorgeous in the tube. I'll report back when I've tried them both :)

Update: Desir is a very pretty, shimmery warm pink color. It reminds me of a darker Pink Peony glossimer (has the same type of shimmer). I wore it over Belgravia RA and it was really pretty.

Jalousie is so pretty -- very pigmented bright raspberry shade. Almost a lil shocking since I am uber pale right now. I think it would look really pretty on a variety of skintones.

I hope those that celebrate Valentine's day had a fun day yesterday. I still love the adorable homemade cards my girls make me in school :)

Elegant -- I can see Jalousie looking amazing on you! Have you worn it much??

Gail -- do you think you will hang on to your Jalousie glossimer? Did you try Elegant's dab and smoosh?

Awww, I bet those cards are just adorable! I returned Jalousie. I did try dab and smoosh but to get it sheered out enough to be wearable on me makes it look like a gazillion other pink lip products I already have...it's beautiful but sadly just too bright & cool-toned for me personally and I should have known better. Really with my coloring I need softer colors, and if I do go bright the shade needs to have some warmth to it. It's ok...I still love the other 3.

Yes, I wear a light to medium application of it :) I kind of fades while you wear it just a bit.

I made our son & DIL handmade cards along with sending them a large gold foiled heart box filled with Hershey Kisses & York heart mint patties

I'm sure your girls' cards are adorable. I love all those handmade memories. We kept ALL the ones our son made. In fact, we were just looking at them last weekend

I think I'm just going to get Jalousie of the Glossimers (although Volupte and Plaisir look so nice and milky! *wavering*). I really like all the Vernis, except for Attraction - even as a collector, I kind of can't bring myself to go for that frostiness.

This is my first post! I'm a huge Chanel freak, started with the polishes a few years ago and just last year crossed over into the rest of makeup. Needless to say, it's been an expensive year.

Out of curiosity, how close is Amour to Bagatelle? Is it at all?

Also, Winthrop, you said Peche is good with Volupte; any chance you have any pictures? I'm curious to see how these look!

One more edit: Are these in stores, or just online? I usually buy my Chanel at Macy's, but it's a trek for me to get even there. I'd hate to make a trip for nothing.

They are in stores because some people on MUA have purchased them in person, but which ones have them already I don't know. I would just call ahead to the Chanel counter at your Macy's before going.

Don't worry about it if you don't get a sec; I was mainly curious!

I answered my own question about the availability. I was able to pop by my Macy's on the way home, after work. They had gotten it in, but just today!! The MA wasn't even sure of what I was asking about when I first asked about it. It was still in the boxes!! I ended up getting Amour and Desir from this collection, and I also picked up the Kaska Beige quad and Pink Sugar lip liner.

I am happy to hear that these products are ending up in retail stores. I have a Nordstrom's gift card just waiting in my wallet to be used!
