I am in love with these shadows. They look particularly cool over paint pots. Fantastic formula- I hope they release more colours in the future.

So, I'm trying to figure out what I'm getting from this collection. I feel like everyone's already hauled what they wanted and I'm late to the party lol Just had trouble making a definite decision. I'm thinking Glorify and Superb for sure. I can't remember if the 234 blending brush is a repromote or not....this is new right? Also, what should I do about shadows? My local store has all except Rich Core. But I believe RC is still available on Macy's. What do you all think? Shadow recs? Thx

Both brushes are repromotes. I really like Grand Galaxy. I wore Rich Core yesterday and it was more purple tinged than I had remembered. But that may have been because I wore pink cheeks and Narcissus (lavender purple gloss). Maybe it brought out the purple look more. I've only worn Havana, Blue Orbit and the pinky Beige color (I can't recall the name right now). I'm slowly working on the rest of the colors.

I am not wowed but these either I had such high hopes hearing everyone else raving about them

I'm sorry some of you ladies are having trouble with the shadows. I find my 252 brush works the best for applying these shadows. It seems to pick up the color well. But I havent worn any of the darker colors I got (GG and Lunar) so I cant comment on those just yet. I love using the lighter colors for quick looks. I've been using MP and Dalliance from Peacocky with some liner and mascara and I'm good to go.

I just wish there had been a jewel toned green. But that could be just be cause I'm on a green kick lately.

VampOwl- If I didnt have the EL cybereyes silver I'd be all over Warm Thunder! But from swatches they look a lot alike.

I got my GG today and decided to try hyper violet paint pot instead of half wild.omg gorgoes .it kinda gave me a similar look to rich core but with a slight purple twinge. Now what I need to know is what to put underneath my modern pewter. I tried genuine treasure with is gorgoes but for night time because of all the shimmer. So I need help with this one.

I was thinking about trying Half Wild as a base for rich core to make it more purple.. I should try it under GG too then!!
For Modern Pewter mmm have you tried Treasure Hunt yet?

If you have For Effect paint pot, you need to try Warm Thunder over it! It makes this amazing smokey gunmetal colour that shifts colours in different angles. I also simply used warm thunder sheerly to blend the edges. Oh I love these eyeshadows, they are very multi-dimensional. I find them to be like loose pigments but in pan form, which is much more user friendly.

More on my blog: http://artificially-pretty.blogspot.ca/2012/04/mac-smokey-warm-thunder-extra.html I also have a haul post on there if you want to see some swatches. I am just lazy to repost and all.. lol

If you have Modern Pewter, you should also try it over Let's Skate. You'll get an amazing duochrome effect. It's absolutely wonderful how the ED e/s and p/p work together!

Oy. I had no intention of buying MP, but I'm always looking for more excuses to use my Let's Skate p/p! Guess I'll be ordering MP tn.

I'm going to dig out some colored paint pots and give these eye shadows another shot...I really, really want to make these work, darnit!
Any other recommendations for a PP under Modern Pewter? I don't have Let's Skate.

Do you have Morning Frost or For Effect PP?

These e/s last ALL day on me. I use TFSI then on my lid I use NYX jumbo pencil in Milk. I use the 239 to pat the e/s on the lid. Then I will use my 226 for my crease.

But I thank goodness don't have a wearability issue with these. I leave the house at 6:45am and by 8pm it is still pretty vibrant. I don't have time to touch up anything but my lipstick or gloss at work.

How about Treasure Hunt with Sweet Heat? It's a very nice Spring/Summer look, especially with a more vibrant blush like Modern Mandarin.
