Bare Study or Morning Frost under Modern Pewter?

I love For Effect under Blue Orbit. Kind of reminds of me of how Stars and Rockets changes colors with a black base.

Rubenesque under Sweet Heat.

I was thinking Greenstroke paint pot might be interesting under Modern Pewter. I might try that tommorrow if I can find that paint pot in my stash.

ah I was thinking I could get away without Warm Thunder but you evil enabler!

If you have For Effect paint pot, you need to try Warm Thunder over it! It makes this amazing smokey gunmetal colour that shifts colours in different angles. I also simply used warm thunder sheerly to blend the edges. Oh I love these eyeshadows, they are very multi-dimensional. I find them to be like loose pigments but in pan form, which is much more user friendly.

More on my blog: http://artificially-pretty.blogspot.ca/2012/04/mac-smokey-warm-thunder-extra.html I also have a haul post on there if you want to see some swatches. I am just lazy to repost and all.. lol

Elegant...you make me so curious to get my Dark Dare!

Even though I have seen several swatches I am not sure...does it have any shimmer particles?Dark Dare is the only one that has a "Glow Finish".
All the other ED Eye Shadows have a "Metallic Finish"....what is the difference?

Mac Guy is awesomely right on using Idyllic with RC

Ahhh I love that idea of using Idyllic with Rich Core! Thanks Mac-Guy for inspiring us all

Finally I get a use out of Idyllic. It was sitting in my Paint Pot drawer all by its lonesome!

I tried out Idyllic today with Rich Core and VV's Vainglorious. Creamy Bisque as a highlight and just a dab of it in the center of the lid to add a little shimmer. I darkened the V with Urban Decay's blackout and Wholesome fluidline. I blended out the crease a bit with a shadow from thebalm's Meet Matte palette (the name escapes me at the moment).

This is 10 hours of wear later and it still looked vibrant! It definitely outlasted my mascara, that's for sure lol.

You are looking absolutely gorgeous Babylard!!!

The combo is awesome and I will try it as soon as I receive my goodies.

i'm somewhat dissapointed in superb. firstly i found it to be very dry which i wasn't expecting. then when i used my brush damp it seems to have damaged the powder :( the eyeshadows are fine used wet so i wonder why the skin finishes aren't? luckily it's not wrecked because it's only a little bit that has gone funny - but still annoying.

the only shadow i got was rich core and while i do like it, it's nothing special :)

I'm so late. I just ordered msf superb and Heroine l/s(is this a matte form of violetta?) on Nordstrom.com. I wanted Whisper of Gilt and Glorify while they were back in stock but I thought they were too similar to nars albatross and mac gold deposit or golden bronze loose powder. Can anyone compare these? Also, superb seems to be a mix of by candlelight and Laura Mercier Rose Rendezvous, no? Omg I can't believe I am asking to be enabled but do I need anything else from all these collections????

Violetta(left) isn't quite the same as Heroine(right)

Glorify is better than Gold Deposit in the sense that it isn't a glitter bomb. Superb apparently is a dupe for Rose Rendezvous.

Egads, this thread is making me lem for a Rich Core e/s. I am trying to be strong but enabling is relentless in these threadz. I guess maybe Nordies still has it? I don't have the stamina for stalking a restock.
