MAC Casual Colour discussion

I was a Ren Fair actor at Black Point (Novato, Marin County) for years, and it could go from over 100 F. on stage to 55 F once over the San Rafael bridge to the East Bay.

I always have a jacket in my car. And no matter how i travel to San Francisco, i always bring a jacket - just going a few blocks in SF the temperature can drop 20 degrees F.


It's BART and bus, or transbay bus and local SF bus. It's over at 1833 Union Street (not to be confused with Union Square - nowhere near it). Check out http://511.org - you can put in the address of your destination and either the time you want to leave home or arrive at the destination, and it will give a several possible trips. (and be sure to set the proper day using the tiny calendar)

Yeah, driving around much of SF is really annoying (can't turn left here... nope, can't turn left here... nope, cannot make a #$*%& left turn here either!), not to mention the near impossibility of finding a parking spot.

But i LOVE The City, no matter how many times i go there i still see so many beautiful views.

If you're taking BART into the city, get off at Montgomery St. Station and walk up to Kearny. You can catch the 45 and get off at Laguna. Coming back, you can take the 45 and get off at 5th and Market, near Powell St. Station.

I am looking for dupes, I know Urban Decay has one, I'm gonna look at tarte, and bobbi brown... but we have new powder blushes coming out, maybe there will be a similiar color.

I got my 3rd Casual Colour - Weekend Getaway last week and I'm loving it!! It creates the perfect baby pink cheeks on my NC30 skintone. I always find that other colors are too cool toned but this one looks beautiful

I'm NC30/35 and I love WG too! But my fav is OFF! Did you grab that one?

I might have found a dupe in Bobbi Brown's Pot Rouge's, but the girls at MAC no longer had the tester for Weekend Getaway so I could compare them. I was able to swatch it at Macy's last week and it was a pretty rosy pink on me. Not the bright baby pink. So, I'm looking at BB's Rose, Pale Pink and Powder Pink(?). Raspberry was really pretty too. So now I just need to go back down to macy's and swatch WG again. LOL... She had a color called pink raspberry that would've been perfect. I'll have to post swatches later. I can't find swatches of Rose online.

I would really hope so, as I waited to try one and now they are gone before I could get more than 2 colors. I do think they will either restock or be another collection with more of these, different colors or maybe some Re promos

I would love a true "clean" red CC and maybe some "fun colors" like a hot pink (Candy Yum Yum as a CC), a black-burgundy or
an iridesecent white/pearl with blue,pink and teal shimmer

I wondered the same thing, but I can see not doing any BU because there is no way this won't dry out before I can use it all. It just takes a tiny bit to work, it is quite pigmented. Not sure if it will keep from drying out if BU is purchased but never opened to air and kept refrigerated, but that would make me hesistate to do BU and I think we will see more of these at some point in the future. I think this collection was a test run to see if they sold...

Got Relaxation instead, not as gorgeous as this one IMO, but still lovely
