lol i love looking at things i don't understand to read.... ugh i regret not looking at the shadows cause that one looks nice on there
Yeah that shadow does look really nice (and looks an awful like the finish on the pressed pigments). It's getting to be kind of hilarious that nobody knows what the heck these shadows are really all about.

Thanks Princess for the swatches :). How do you think LG compares to Moxie?? Lol. I'm just trying to talk myself out of it!

So I called my nordstroms where I preordered my stuff and the shadows are not pressed pigments they're regular veluxe pearl shadows in the larger version

i think moxie pulls of more pink than red and lg has like a tint of pink but its red (make sense lol not really) its def different and it's a dif type of pink than what moxie pulls off

I ran into this too, though - last time I was at my store, one MUA who had been to a product roundtable in advance of update was sure they were pressed pigments, but in the book it says VP. I guess the next Specktrite who gets a chance to see them - please check the shadows for us!!

(I'm interested because I feel like the colors aren't interesting to me unless they're in the pressed pigment formula, which will makes shades like that much more unique)

Oh no need to apologize! I don't look at stuff that's not interesting to me, especially if I'm already seeing a ton of other things I want and the dollars are racking up in my mind.

I bought a couple of the Face & Body pressed piggies (Warming Heart and Deeply Dashing) and have really loved their texture - mega-wet looking with clear sparkle. It's a good look for my dry older eyelids, considering a lot of pale sparkly or frosted shades just make all the lines stand out - these just read really smooth. I haven't had the bad fallout problems Christine did, though. The texture would be really cute in a pale grey or really any pale or subtle shade.

Edit: The only down side to the pressed pigments for me is that they're hard to remove - that's when the glitter goes everywhere. I have to use cream cleanser to be sure I've gotten it all off.

They're definitely a little touchy....try with a finger and only use a tiny bit are the best tips. They're sparklier than a lot of the normal pigments, because they have this pretty large clear sparkle mixed in. If you buff them in A LOT, you can definitely get a non-glittery effect for wearing on the cheeks as a highlight, but so far I mostly love them on the eyes. I do think it's the sort of sparkle that people who see you don't notice in the same way as what you see on yourself, just like how we always see every tiny little pore on our faces so much more than outside observers do.

Check out the Face and Body thread - some of us like them, but some of us really really hated them - so it pays to just try them yourself. If you're young and already have smooth eyelids, they might be overkill a little bit, since you can still get away with the usual shimmery powder textures (ahhh, I miss those days!)

Thank you for your swatches earlier. Can you remember whether or not C'IS is darker than say Russian Red? I am gonna get a lippie and have to get a red as it's MM but want one darker than my regular reds. These do seem to be lighter than say Diva or even Rocker but that's fine as it could fit in between RR and those. Thank you again.
