Man oh man! I love lavenders and lilacs. About a month ago I found this really pretty lavender lipstick in a beauty supply store. Very cheap but very pretty.

It's Nicka K's Lavender Tint. I wonder if Nicki's VG2 will look anything like this. I seem to can't get enough of shades like this. I definitely want to check out Nicki VG2.

OMG, favorite lipstick ever!! (besides Blankety) It smells amazing too, which is not typical of cheap lippies. I have a few stockpiled.

I'm a huge fan of berry/purple colors, but this Nicki 2 is just too light for my pale skin. I prefer the 1st one over this one. I wish MAC had more purple shades. Up the Amp and Violetta just don't always cut it.

Yeah, it would be nice if MAC added at least another purple lippy or two.

98% of my makeup has been packed and moved, so I had some brights laying in my work bag and Pure Zen and Nicky 2 L/G. Since it's day 6 in a row at work, I didn't feel like putting much effort into today's look, so here's my super toned down Nicki 2.

Ugh, I know what you mean about moving and having almost no access to the goodies. I am about to have to go thru that & I am DREADing it. I like all these ideas for using Nicki. The toned down look is nice also cuz I could rock it at work and not worry about the Tyrone Biggums effect. It looks great there in your pix. I am quite surprised at the versatility (and creatitivity) of all the looks with this color. At first I was put off b/c I was thinking everyone is putting all this work into making it look right but now I am seeing all the interesting ways it can be combo'd.

I love it! It's one of the best makeup purchises I've ever done! I have olive undertones, but on the fair/lighter side, and it looks AMAZING on me. Usually pinks tend to be very jarring on my skin. I pair it with shimmery/silvery light purple eyeshadow for a springy look.

the most surprisingly wonderful shade! I'm fair and blonde but it's actually worked out really awesome, and I like how it looks when you mix it with different glazes

It's probably just me but I'm not feeling this too much. I prefer the ombre to be darker on the outer and going lighter as it goes inward instead of the other way around.
:agree: I see a bunch of ombres where the lighter colour is on the bottom lip and dark on the top. I prefer it switched here to, as the top lip is smaller than the bottom, and you'd want the top lip to appear bigger.

Now sometimes that method don't look too bad. Maybe you have to be careful with the colors or something because in that one her lips almost look sore in the middle or something.

When I first saw Viva Glam 2, I loved the colour (purple is my favourite colour) but I knew it would be hard to pull off. I thought it would only look good on very light skinned people. And corpses. But if you play around with it, it's quite beautiful. I like to wear it with Magenta lip liner. Or mix it with Violetta lipstick. Or wear Famously Fab lipglass on top. Or wear Funtabulous dazzleglass on top. I also imagine mixing it with OCC's Hoochie would be nice, but don't quote me because I haven't tried it yet...they just seem them would work together.
