The formula dried my lips out so bad after I removed it & I never ever have issues with dry lips. I sent mine back.

Oh no! Definitely skipping then until i can try them in person. So sorry wifey :(

Wow... This couldn't be the issue Erin was on about, by any chance???? I was kinda looking forward to getting a few (yes... I went from 1 to no precise figure).

Not the issue i was talking about, but it's definitely not a good issue to have either way. Bummer.

Too bad they didn't just reformulate the PLW lipsticks to be worn sans the gloss topcoat without having sahara lips, and still have the gloss option as well. Then come out with new colours as well as bring back some of the top selling colours. Ugh, MAC sucks sometimes.

I've been pretty happy with my PLW lipsticks. I never wear them all day, just for a night out, so they don't bother me too much.

I got Mademoiselle and Oh Lady on Saturday. I tried Mademoiselle out then, and found out that with some Mineralize lip balm under and applied lightly with help of a finger it can be worn - otherwise looks really cakey. Today I've been wearing OL with Heroine liner. Used a finger again to even out the colour. Put some MLB over after lunch though. I will try again with P&P. I have very dry lips, but it think these can be worked out if worn thinly - the emphasis on worked - for most people most likely not something you can just slap on and go.

Back in vouge looks beautiful did anyone get it? Are these LE? Mac noob here

:wavey: Welcome to Specktra.

These are not LE, they're a permanent fixture. If you see the small triangle of death (thank you iPhone for being you), then you should worry and panic buy (I don't encourage panic buying... Unless otherwise).

I have to say I was disappointed. I am new to liquid lipsticks and have a few kvd. The mac colors are pretty but not that special. The applicator is pretty amazing but The formula is horrible. Very drying and feels thick on my lips. After an hour I wanted the "crap" off my lips. Also to matte with love and tailored to tease transferred to everything. Mac had plenty of time to make these so much better and I am so sad they were not!! I sent back 3 out of four. And I never send back anything.

Ahh, you too hun. :snooty: My lips are still trying to recover from the dryness. I hardly ever send anything back too, but this formula is terrible. Hugs

Update on Dance With Me: I absolutely adore it! It applied smooth and even, didn't feel grainy when I ran my tongue across my inner lip, and was incredibly comfortable. The one negative for me is staying power. It lasted about 3 hours before starting to fade. It faded from inside my bottom lip after dinner and a few drinks, but it didn't look patchy or crumble. It also re-applied on top of itself nicely. My lips have been so dry this season that I can't wear most of my liquid lipsticks, so I don't mind a comfortable formula that I have to reapply. It also looks better as it wears.

I always have the one differing opinion lol but I'm a fan! It wears like a matte lipstick in a tube, rather than the bulletproof, suction to your lips liquid lipstick formula.

Did swatches at Macy's. This is indoors. I didn't bother with the nudes and a couple were missing from the display. I'm sure there's a more true red than the one swatched, right?

Oh and I had them on about 10 mins and they wiped off easily without a trace with the MAC wipes. Other brands usually stain my hand.

Lady Be Good is my kind of nude but on IG closeups look like it settles into every lip line. I will eventually cave and get it for the adorbs packaging lol

I'd probably try out the formula first by just buying one since it's permanent anyway. I'll be getting Dance With Me. I'm into the Liquid Lipsticks Bandwagon lately, I started using Colour Pops and I love it!! Can't wait to try this one from MAC! :D

So I picked up Back In Vogue and have been wearing it for 3 days straight since. It is just so lovely and I find it much easier to apply than my KVD liquid lipsticks. Or maybe I'm just finally getting good at applying! Lol. But in all seriousness, I think it is the wand.

I also like that while it is matte there is some ever so subtle shimmer. And while it is slightly drying, I don't find it uncomfortable at all. I honestly forget I am wearing it.

I will definitely go and get LadyBeGood when it is back in stock. With all the different reviews I honestly wonder if some colors wear differently than others. I guess I'll see when the time comes.
