I feel like I change this every day! To be fair, I tend to rotate my lippies on a daily basis and I don't want to carry them all, so I always switch those up. But I do feel like mine is way too full! My staples:

-brow shadow and brush (I often smudge them

)
-concealer
-pressed powder and baby kabuki brush
-chapstick
-the day's lippie
-tweezers (yeah, I touch up on my lunch break)
-mascara

These all live in my little makeup case. Sometimes I'll throw in my eyeliner for the day (I'm *really* good at smudging things

) and blush, beauty powder, or MSF, whichever one I'm using that day. Sometimes if I'm wearing fancy eyeshadow I'm really compelled to put at least one of the colors in, but I know that's silly, so I've resisted that so far!

Just a lipstick and/or a lipglass and mascara (which I never use)
Sometimes I carry concealer and an eye pencil with me.

My makeup bag/purse

This is generally what I carry when I'm going on a weekend trip or need to pack light:


• Lotion and Burt's Bees royal jelly eye cream
I use the eye cream around my lips and nose, too, so I save room and don't have to pack other moisturizers

• MAC Studio Fix powder foundation in NC35
Not my first choice foundation, but my current preferred choice is liquid and very expensive. The powder travels well and is easy to reapply on-the-go.

• Kabuki brush
I only pack the one brush for blush and foundation both.

• MAC blush in Gingerly or Sunbasque or blushcreme in Uncommon
Depends on how my skin is feeling––dry skin gets blushcreme, summer months get the dry powder blushes.

• L'Oreal HIP gel eyeliner pot in black
I like this better than MAC's Fluidlines and they give you A LOT, and it doesn't dry out...it really has the nicest moist texture

• Princeton Watercolor Miniature angled shader
I use this as a flat angled liner brush for the gel liner

• MAC lipsticks (one dramatic and one nude)
Usually a combo like Russian Red and Honeylove, or Diva and Blankety.

• Cheap shimmery lipgloss
It doesn't matter what brand. Just a regular drugstore shimmer to use as topcoat or on its own when lipstick just isn't doing it.

• One Mehron or Kryolan water-based palette
For bright, playful color, I like to bring one palette––which has 8 or 12 colors in it––and an accompanying watercolor-type brush.

• One highlighting eyeshadow color
One shimmery thing to put over my bright facepaints and highlight my browbone

• One eyeliner pencil in black, dark grey, or brown
Right now I'm using a drugstore twist-up kohl pencil in charcoal, just to line my waterline after everything else.


I don't pack mascara and I don't pack multiple face brushes. I sometimes bring a blotter-type powder but I'll usually just stick with re-applying my MAC foundaton instead.

Half the time I dont even use anything but the blot powder, but I have a compulsion to take it all with me... JUST IN CASE... some kind of horror happens to my makeup? xD

I don't tend to carry much makeup in my bag- I work in a hospital lab where hardly anyone wears any & I feel too dressed up if I do anything too colourful!

Usually I just have:
-Blot Powder
-2 or 3 lipglasses (I like to have a variety!)
-Carmex
-Concealer
-Blotting papers- I couldn't live without these!

I carry an eyebrow pencil (I'm paranoid!), powder, retractable brush (which has been missing for awhile now.. :/), Carmex, sometimes nude l/l, and the lippie of the day.

not much, i usually pack for the day. what's always in there is a small case with some advil in it. sephora blot paper. carmex cherry lip balm. a small mirror. and a retractable powder brush from ecotools and floss.

what i usually add to it when i go out - msf natural, lipgloss/lipstick of the day, concealer, and a small travel perfume.

i usually don't like to carry with me a lot of makeup. especially my mac. i don't want to lose/break anything.

When I go to school, I try to carry at least my oil absorbing sheets, chapstick, and the lipstick im wearing that day.

When Im going out and about around the town, I tend to carry those things plus concealer, blush, the eyeshadow im wearing, just in case I need to touch up my makeup, and around 3 brushes to apply those products just in case

Weird, but i never carry my makeup with me unless I go travelling.
Maybe lipstick/lipgloss/chapstick.
I hardly ever reapply my makeup so there's no point of carrying extra luggage for me.

Geez....I bring pretty much everything I might use. I try to do all my face stuff while I'm at home, but when I'm in school I usually get my foundation and powder, then I have to bring all my other stuff with me and do it in class or once I get to school.

So I have 3 quads, a couple shadows not depotted yet, an eyeliner, and mascara

He he he... I just carry a mirror and some of my lipgloss, sometimes I also bring lipstick if I want.
