I think I may be the only one, but I'm not that crazy about teal. I think it looks good on brown eyes like mine, but I don't have fun wearing it.

I think I'm going to stick to 1-2 shadows and a handful of lippies.

I am also *dying* to see swatches of Love Peck. I hope it isn't a huge letdown.

You're not the only one. I'm amazed when people with my colouring say they can wear it, because 9 times out of ten, it turns yucky on me. It's better now that I have dark hair than when I was blonde, but it's still very hit or miss with me (same goes for blue). Also have my fingers crossed for love peck. The last thing I want is to see it and find out it's more like a slightly darkened brick red.

Just because it looks blue in a tube or on your hand doesn't mean that it's going to look blue on your lips. Previous glosses have been on the sheer side, so they don't look blue on your lips. They just shift your natural hue.
However, this particular line sounds to me like the lippies will be more opaque, in which case, you wear it whenever you feel like being badass!

Same here. My boyfriend asked me if I had any idea what I wanted for Christmas. "Makeup."

He said "I figured." Easy for him (and everyone else in my life)--just get me a mac gift card and I'll be happy!

We were told that these new shadows are nothing like the Metal X shadows. They are supposed to be smooth and buttery and close to a Veluxe Pearl finish.

yup! they are similar to starflash and vp! not metal x which were cream shadows!

to save her greyness from going mad from answering this question again, these are nothing like the previous metal x shadows, they were creams and this is a powder, they are like pressed pigments, metal x shadows do indeed suck
