So...less than 2 weeks away now. Still no swatches?

yeah it's a little annoying. now i will have some extra money next month i want to know more about the lippies. i shall get the dark red one but perhaps another too. but seeing as i have to buy from the mac site i dont want to buy blind

Agreed! I know I'm interested in the dark red lipstick, but I'm also curious about the dark red gloss and the pinkish-red lipstick. Would be nice to see some previews.

I don't know if it will be the same this year but the brushes from the couture collections are usually exquisitely soft, much MUCH moreso than the corresponding regular ones. I have the 129 with the silver handle from a few years ago and there is just no comparison with the regular 129. BUT...I don't think I'll be spending $75 for another 187. Hoping it makes it to my CCO!

yes usually that is what the flase lash style mascaras are about - lots of fibres for extra lengh!

Finding out this collection is inspired by Vermeer makes it more interesting to me. I can see it in the reds and especially the golds but I don't remember Vermeer ever using Fuchsia and the package design (which I love) doesn't remind me of Vemeer at all.

I hope I love one of the lipsticks because the packaging is really nice.

I am sure I am skipping this, but I was curious. I got Prive l/s last year and I try so hard not to use it but I am in love with it. Just looking for some hope

I am utterly in LOVE with this collection! At first I didn't pay it any mind but when I read Marcel Wanders' interview, I noticed he had lots of similar ideas and philosophies that I try to promote in my work (scholarship). Then I got really interested and googled what else he has done and you know what, the guy has done some awesome things. And with a tongue in cheek, too: the Baccarat collection has wine glasses with his emblem, a stylized print of his face, in the stem!

As a lover of good design and luxe stuff, I am definitely getting something from this collection. The brush and a couple of lipsticks at least. Perhaps the powder, just for the case. The clutch I need to see in person but it's probably very pretty, too.

Hmm, the glosses look pretty sparkly for me but they have a brush applicator sounds nice. The lipstick colours are all pretty but probably not very special. She only gives the packaging on the lip products 4/5 but doesn't say why. I think it's beautiful but I would also want it to feel nice in my hand.
