I got my Gesina ls today & it is SO pretty. Probably not terribly unique, but nevertheless it is a beautiful pink red on! Its definitely a color that all the magazines are showing on the lips right now.

I have been wearing Gesina most of the day, & I must say that there is something about this particular color that absolutely just brightens up my complexion & teeth!!!! And, I'm not even wearing any other makeup.

Sigh, the only thing I'm really lemming is Martha lipstick, which looks highly dupable. Also I like the look of the perfume necklace - has anyone had a chance to see this, and if so, what are your thoughts on the scent and the pendant?

I personally think it's a bit big to work as a pendant, but everyone will have their own opinions. The scent itself is very floral, exotic, not overly sweet and very feminine. I like it a lot, but again, it's something that's very personal. I would agree that Martha is dupeable. I can't think of an exact match offhand, but it didn't strike me as something really original when I saw it. There are a lot of neutral colours in Mac's permanent line that won't cost you as much.

Argh I'm so annoyed at myself! Saw the collection was online, and the only thing I really really wanted from it was Gesina, so I pop that in my basket straight away. I go onto a couple of different websites to get ideas of what else to buy (I always like to order £50 at a time so I get free delivery), and I end up adding Aleydis l/g and Frankly Scarlet blush (something I've been wanting to try for ages).
Get to checkout... "Hey, where's Gesina gone?"

In the space of 20 minutes I'd lost the only thing I'd really wanted! Lesson to be learned here!

The hubby surprised me with a trip into the mountains this year. We stayed in an adorable and romantic cabin in Vail for 4 days...it was an awesome birthday for me!

^Its just a tinsy tad more pink on the lips - but it is a Beautiful lipstick color!

Sorry if this has been answered, but I haven't been following this thread (Gesina is just too tempting, afraid I will cave). I wanted to swatch in store today, and they only had one lipstick (Catharina) and one lipgloss. In fact, there is only space for one of each on the display stand. I didn't ask because I was in a horrid mood and didn't feel like dealing with fellow humans. So what gives?

They had the display closed. It's a weird contraption that you have to open, but you'd never figure that out to look at it. The side that has the image on it- I.e. not the side with the products- opens up. It defeated me. My MA had to open it for me and apparently even they had trouble figuring it out.
