Do you think Skinny Jeans is similar to Dangerous Cuvee? In my mind it is, but I haven't seen anyone compare them...

I think they're similarly steel-toned, but I think that Skinny Jeans is darker and doesn't have much of the same blue undertone. The Benefit Creaseless Cream that I think might be most similar to DC is Strut, which is also steel-ish, but is more strongly blue-ish. But Strut is definitely darker than DC too.


Final list: IGNK, Chilled on Ice. Plus the Too Chic b/p from Stylishly Yours (Chez Chez Lame is looking kind of too powdery in the swatches I'm seeing).

I am still super excited for this collection! I think I'm still getting DC and VS p/p's I am one of those too that like to try stuff out for myself. They are so pretty, and I am determined to make them work. If I cant I can always return them. The lipglees are so amazingly pretty! I figure i'd better use glittery and bright colors while I'm still young enough to pull it off. The more swatches I see of Soiree n/l the more I get excited for it!

I had really high hopes for these new paint pots, but I think they're going to be way to frosty for me. For anyone else who's disappointed, I do recommend checking out Benefits creaseless cream shadows. Sephora has 4 exclusives, a silver one (silver spoon), an white one (ice shot), teal w/gold (tidal wave) and a lavender (purple snap). I have the first 2 plus Skinny Jeans and Birthday suit.

From the swatches I've seen, I don't think they're going to be a dupe, but I do think they'll be in the same family. If I get a chance to swatch DC on the 26th, I'll compare it to Skinny Jeans and Silver Spoon.

Thanks for the answers about Dangerous Cuvee. I think I will skip it for now as I have Skinny Jeans. If they turn out to be totally different I can probably pick it up later.

Since the only thing I'm keeping from this collection is Straight to the Head lipgelee, I wish the lipgelees came in a wider range of colors because I do love them. I may pick up Sintillation because I did see pink in it unlike Luxure which is exactly like Resort Life. I know lipgelees aren't for everyone, but if I can put up with Dazzleglass, I can put up with these. So, I'm going to get Sin-tillation and Rose Ole and return DC paint pot and No Kick. Blaaaah!!!

Glad I could warn the rest of you ladies. HerGreyness told me so, but I am the type who needs to see for myself or otherwise, I will remain curious and that kills me.

Shontay, sorry the DC didn't work out for you -- it is a difficult product to use and that was my big problem with it... same with the IGNK -- but I wrote about these before.

If the emollients had been tweaked a bit more, the end product might have been frosty but not as sheer (sheer means it separates upon application). I think that there were different labs working on these products as the revisions have been a bit helter skelter.

Elegant -- don't rely on all pics from photo ops.. they can use anything and everything to get the shot they need, plus they can photoshop the hell out anything.

I dont love the new specktra layout, I havent been on here in a while. I got a lot from the new Champale collection. Personally, I love anything light reflecting and ice princess looking. I love the chilled on ice pp and I ordered DC. Haven't swatched it yet because I am on Long Island at the moment and its waiting for me at my apt in the city!
