dang! the one time we get a gray-ish paint pot and its sounds like a major fail... unless you like that type of thing. i personally i had some hopes for this one.

I was soooooo excited for the paint pots, and now I don't even know if I'm getting any of them! Obvi not Dangerous Cuvee after those reviews, yikes! Not Vintage Selection, that's not my kind of color. Chilled on Ice is still a maybe though. I guess I'll see when I go to the counter.

Elegant, DC didn't seem that way to me either when I swatted it. It's when you put it on your eyes that the fail sets in. I can't speak for them all but I can only imagine. I am so disappointed.

I don't want to say that I told you so, but I did tell all of you that these paint pots were glitter bombs.... sadly, I liked them before I tested them, then when I did I reported back and told you all that if you like glitter then great, if not --- stay the hell away from them. I don't even use my personal testers.

I already know DC is going back, but I think No Kick is going back too. It just looks like I have eye boogers. I can look awake with my concealer. I may get Rose Ole.

Ohh, I don't think we have that store here! I was going to say, you are very lucky they gave you that tip! But seeing as how you are a regular, I guess that's how you got so lucky, lol. That was so sweet of the SA! What a deal.I saw a pair of Guess at Joeneve in Bayshore mall here in Ottawa for $300. The SA told me they'll be $120 on Boxing Day. I shop there all the time so she always gives me the scoop. I'm gonna be there first thing in the morning on Boxing Day and then head out to MAC to get my Cham Pale goodies. I also want to get a bottle of Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua that I keep hearing raves about
I am most definitely skipping this collection, I should be able to dupe the few things I like. I do think I need a dupe for that nail polish (Very Important Platinum) asap, though!!

Thanks for letting us know your experience with Dangerous Cuvee, Shontay. It certainly doesn't look glittery in the pot, or even in Temptalia's swatches, and I love the colour, so I'm rather disappointed. I was looking forward to getting this one, along with Vintage Selection (looks gorgeous) and possibly Chilled On Ice. Money is tight, though, so at least my credit card will be relieved.
I would love it if they would bring these colours out in non 'glitter bomb' form. At 45 years old, the glittery face look isn't really me, as I discovered when I used Sleek's glitter eyeliner and it travelled all over my face.

I think this collection could have been really special had they balanced out some of the glitter with a few matte textures. A face full of glitter gives the eye no place to rest when others look at you. I probably would have been crazy about this collection if they had done some matte eyeshadows and paint pots to go with the metallic eye kohl, sparkly lipgelees and highlighters.
I'll just be getting IGNK and moving on. Oh well...money saved for me!

I read somewhere that Chez Chez Lame was like NARS Albatross...I have been lemming Albatross for awhile but if Chez Chez Lame is similar I might just get it instead...does anyone know? Thanks!!!!!! Also How is a Dazzleglass and a Lipgelee different? I see that they both have alot of sparkle but I have never owned a lip gelee and im thinking about Bubble Lounge...any opinions on that? TIA !!!
