Can't wait for Thursday!!!!!!

Between this and the ban on information, it has turned me off of MAC. I still buy, of course, but my overall satisfaction with MAC has been on the decline lately.
This is my next pet-peeve. I hate ranting, but I fully believe that make-up, collecting, all this should be FUN first and foremost. Too much anxiety is being stirred up lately. And people can get so nasty.

All that being said, I am excited for the collection and have my list all ready - I just won't be running to get to it, and I'm being very choosy with what I do get.

Plus, lots of love to everyone here who keeps the atmosphere light and fun :) You know who you are!

I see it as a very big tactical mistake that Mac not only kept the prices well higher than the US for this collection, but also made the shadows the same colour as pigment jars. I'm now looking at them and thinking "well, yes, I get a lot for the price, but if there's a similar looking pigment, I get even more, plus there are lots that are permanent".

You know, the whole pigment product size value ($19.50 USD for 0.15 oz) vs eyeshadow size value ($19.50 for 0.11 oz) makes me completely sure not a single shadow is going home with me. Pigments are way more vibrant, and I would enjoy them a lot more. I do still want some lip colors though.

^ katred and Shontay.. yep, I see the colours in Flaunting it too as being very close to others which have gone before for spring collex.

as far as prices are concerned.. I have also posted and exressed my concern in this dangerous price zone that MAC is now crossing. It will be a sellout collex nevertheless simply because they are selling new technology in a powder product -- different from previous ES and different from existing piggies.
That said, I know many are confused when I speak about texture - it is not something easy to see in swatches, on a monitor or even on the face of the pan when you look at it.. it is in the FEEL of the product that you will feel the difference.

After this type of ES is introduced and sold by MAC it will change the expectations of many who are saying that the colours are either ordinary or not in the stratosphere of rocket scientists.. this is one product line you will have to feel and touch in order to really appreciate it.

I was looking to get 4 thing from this collection:
Flaunting it
So Vain
Centre Stage
Dalliance

That's a $75 dollar haul =/

Then from the Mickey collection I wanted:
Siahi Fluidline
Mehr Lipstick

Thats a $26 dollar haul..

Is it worth spending all that money?

I am a pigment whore for sure! Dont get me wrong I love them, But the new bottles can be so frusterating! So I love that these shadows are a lot like pigments in shadow form, with the added bonus of being so blendable and buttery.

I'm also planning on trying pigments from other brands like Illamasqua this year too, I love MAC but I'm going to venture into other brands more this year.

I should have been a rocket scientist instead of just an ordinary Fembot. Do Rocket Scientits get to wear pink pants?

I can't wait to get to feel these shadows in person!

OMG - did you see how I spelled Scientist! I'm so sorry people. I swear that I only had a half glass of wine. I cannot edit my posts for some reason tonight. Reminds me of the Austin Powers movie

darlin, I think that it depends if you meet the following criteria:

a. do you have the money and it isn't your doggies kibble money?
b. do you love the products?
c. do you need the products?
d. do you want the products?
e. if the products did not exist, what would you do with the money?
f. if you don't buy the products, will you feel good about it?
g. if you do buy the products will you get maximum use from them?
h. if you save the money what would you do with it?
i. how much do you value your money vis a vis your self image?
j. what percentage of your income is going towards the products?
k. if that percentage is less than say 1%, do you feel you are worth it?
l. what percentage of your income is in your mu budget?.
m will the products make you happier ?

this is a mini economics and philosophy/psyche excercise..

I think MAC was counting on this formula becoming successful, so why not start with regular colors? I am pretty sure these will be a big hit...so I dont see this formula going anywhere after this coll, I can see the colors getting more unique later on down the road... Just my

singer, maybe the muse got a dud? all the ones I tested were buttery smooth... but do check it yourself before you buy.

as to your question on why MAC didn't come out with the reg shades in this formula.. cause it's a new formula and it required a new launch.. and women as we know love anything NEW.. lol.

besides, we have to get used to the fact that inflation is creeping back into the economy (gasoline, cost of money, etc)... yea, its a whole economic mess out there and we will all be paying for it. Thank God it's mu and not food -- yet !

I just called MAC and they said we can't B2M for any of the products...which makes zero sense to me, I've B2M for LE Duo E/S before...
