Just sayin'.
Nice link, shontay!

Like I've posted before - to rock the blue lips, you just need to think about the whole package in advance. Make sure your hair and clothes have the right style to them so the lips are the focal point of your whole look, not just your face look. I vote for minimalist/architectural style and super minimalist hair and you could wear it even for day. I know I will! It's a fantastic blue - I love how deep it is.

I know that folks are upset over the price of the shadows and the fact that they are too big for the conventional palette but this is part of the appeal to me.

Dalliance went on my list early on when Her Greyness told us it was a true multipurpose product (and gorgeous). Top of the Posh for the same reason. I foresee alot of non-eye shadow use for these in the spring.

Noir Plum is just too gorgeous and all of my purples are in heavy rotation.

Sexpectations still gets some love from me because I can bump up the red factor with something like the red side of Mi'Lady or my red MUFE Aqua Cream.

The only ones I am still on the fence about are Ego and Unflappable.

Oh No! HoneyFlower is being discontinued. I will have to buy one soon. I love this color for summer. I think I have bought this lipstick the most but mainly because it keeps breaking and I hate mess. As for Peacocky, I wanted pretty much all the shadows but have narrowed it down due to budget constraints.

My list:

  • Dalliance
  • Prance
  • Tweet Me
  • Ego

I want one of the browns too but I will try to wait on it. Hopefully, it will not sell out right away.

Im going to make my 1st attempt at a lip swatch. Right after I sacrifice a virgin to the camera gods.
Flaunting It looks so much prettier than I expected based on its description. It's definitely a must-have for me. How long does it wear on you?

Lip swatch would be great!

If you guys could only choose *one* eyeshadow, which would you go with?

Center Stage. That may be all I haul as far as shadows go now. That one looks like the best neutral for my skin color. i have color shadows that i'm good with already. no need to haul anymore.

Those pics look hot! But in a photo shoot is really where I would wear blue lips, otherwise it's just going to sit in my drawer unused. If it had more red pearl than blue, that would be different story!

I am so excited for Dalliance as it reminds me of Maui Wowie but with better texture. I think Prance will be the better version of Hypnotizing for me. I am going to skip Top of the Posh as I have beautiful Apricot Pink pigment that gets no love.

I am so excited for this collection. After looking at temptalia's swatches the only lippie that I am not interested in is Peacocky! I am quickly trying to look through my stash to see if I have dupes for at least some of the rest of the lippies so that I can cut down my list.

I have a lot of the UD eyeshadows mentioned on temptalia that can be dupes for this collection. For those of you who have tried the shadows from this collection, how does the fall out compare to UD. I love UD, but I am sometimes a glittery mess when I use it.

I think MAC is entering dangerous pricing territory with these eyeshadows - at least in Canada. Even if they're awesome, and they're certainly big, that price on a single eyeshadow puts them up with brands that offer a much better buying experience and a higher-end image. I did notice these are made in USA at least. It irks me more when we have to pay so much more than Americans for MAC that's actually made in Canada.

I will probably buy one shadow and one lip colour to test out the formulae. Probably one of the light shadows and one of the red lip colours.

For those of you pondering the blue, I think it's worth it if you'll rock it for even one special night. A colour like that can make the whole look and make you feel awesome. I can't wait to see pics of some of you beauties!

I have a sample of Apricot Pink pigment, and it's one of my absolute favourites. I just wish I could get a full jar of it.

The only way I think I could wear the blue lippy is as part of a futuristic robot costume for fancy dress. There's no way I could wear it otherwise.

i hope karla posts her swatches soon!
i love the eyeshadows and i'll probably love the texture but unfortunately the colors aren't very unique to me.
guess i'll spend more on the lipcolor stuff since i rarely find nice opaque lipglosses.

So Dalliance is a glorified Shroom? I'll stick with Shroom since I finally just bought it. Haven't used it yet, though. I'm starting to consider Centre Stage. I want a dark brown for a smokey look, but one that isn't matte. I have Showstopper, Cross Cultural, etc but I think this one is what I'm looking for. I might wait until I can get to a store to see it on my skin.

^ no Shontay.. it was a form of expression used in order to clarify the colouration of the product.. the level of colour.
Shroom is Shroom.. and Dalliance is lighter with more metallic sheen .

Ok, I see.

I just found this odd site with a blue lipstick that looked the way I thought Peacocky would. It's really cheap, too but something tells me the quality will be lacking so I'll skip that. I'm still looking into blue lips and I see some looks that I like. Some obviously are using liner and I wish I knew what colors were being used.
