i'm pretty sure the e/s are $23.50 & the l/g will probably be around the same $22?

Wow, this thread exploded with new posts!

Does anybody know the Canadian prices for this collection? I can't find them and I think I should know the damage before I make my list...

I don't think these eyshadows can be compared to other ones from the permanent collection because, the finish is completely different, it is way more pigmented and texture is completely different. However, if you do have simmilar colours already in your collection then that would save you tons of money!

Anyone notice that the swatches of So Vain on Temptalia are different? There's one in the regular review and one in the dupe post. I think in the dupe post she swatched Super by accident. I don't know, So Vain seems so brown in that swatch. Maybe I've been looking at swatches too long.
I noticed that too but I think she had So Vain and Korres #25 mixed up, she's changed the title now and So Vain's right next to Perennial High Style.

Could Vanity Fair be close to Right Image cremesheen glass colorwise? Maybe VF is bluer?

If I had to choose just one e/s (with those lippies it would be too hard), it would be Dalliance for now at least. I don't have a colour like that. I was debating that with Prance, because it seems to go perfectly with Shale and Hypnotizing. Also Center Stage is pleasing me very much for some reason. See, I already listed three when I had to list only one. So Dalliance.

sigh, there are so many choices and each person has their own look and likes..

I wish I could physically show you all how they look or feel, but I did my best with the first showings.. my ass has skid marks from that one.

however given limited resources, i.e. cash ... and the selection, I would observe what the top MU peeps are using on their models -- or did use, for the shows..

Dalliance is a hit imo.. because it is so so versatile. It is creamy on application, you can use this on your eyes, tear duct area or highlite eyes.. it is a big fat glorified shroom but better and more golden -- use it to highlite cheekbones, use it on your decolletage (sit down Elegant..lol), use it on the center of your lips, use it on your collarbone...
Also, consider that the great colours for spring are: copper, bronze & turquoise, yellow and orange -- if you are not interested in Fashion per se, just choose what you like or are missing from your existing stash.

I was still unsure if I should get Dalliance or Prance, but now it's fix, I'm going to get Dalliance... THANK YOU Hergreyness

Trying to be strong and only get peacocky, so vain, noir plum, odalisque. Then when i get my once a year trip to the Mac store next month I'll grab a few more things I'm sure. When I went in March of 2010, they still had Style Black shadows from Sept 09! I was able to get a Blue Flame for 19.50 instead of the 35 bucks people wanted on ebay.

I wore blue lips nearly everyday for couple of years in the 90's. Nowadays I don't wear blue on my lips even on a special occasion. Not that I don't like it, but because now other colours inspire me way more.

If the lipsticks wouldn't be $18 a piece, I would actually consider buying Peacocky. However, it's not worth the money, tiny tube and knowing that's I'd hardly wear it.

I wasn't really interested in this collection at all after deciding that the blue lip colour wasn't really up my street (I prefer more of a turquoise blue.)

...then I looked at temptalia's site :|

On the upside, I still don't want the blue lipstick.
On the downside, I now want almost everything else!

I'm very excited about this collection as the eyeshadow formula seems great. However, I'm really miffed about the $20 per shadow. I don't need 3.5 grams of one color. I would rather them be in the smaller pots at 14.50, plus you can't back to mac for them. I feel like if you are paying $20 a shadow you may as well shop higher end brands.
