MAC - Cham Pale Discussion

I found my way to make Flustered work finally! I lined my lips with Dervish (which is practically my lip color but slightly pinker), then applied Flustered really lightly so it's just a sheen over pink and then added Frankly Fresh lipglass as a nude. It's a nude lip but with a sheen kick. Btw, today I paired that with Nanogold and Let Me Pop on my eyes with smolder as liner & IGNK as inner eye highlight. Then Prim & Proper blush with Chez Chez Lame highlight.
Ooh does Chez Chez Lame go well with Prim and Proper? I LOVE Prim and Proper! I think it's my favourite blush ever

Also, everything is super sparkly?! Urghh - I was looking forward to the silvery and the lighter gold paint pots (sorry, I forget the names!) but yeah, like quite a few of you I hate having a glittery face =P The lipgelees are definitely a no for me, even though they look gorgeous in pictures and from your descriptions!

Yesterday I saw the collection in person. It looks amazing in person and I only took home Bubble Lounge and Dangerous Cuvee. Both are so gorgeous!!! I ordered the Fix+ Lavender and yet another Feline Khol Power. If my MAC store still has Feline in stock, I will buy another one.

I went to get I Get No Kick and the NC15 Pencil, and when I swatched the pencil it was SUPER yellow and dark on me. NC15 isn't a perfect match for me (I would be NC10 if it only existed) but I do wear the Studio Fix Fluid in NC15 and it wasn't that dark. So I decided to get Vintage Selection paint pot instead :D
I'm totally okay with this.

I adore Prim & Proper- it's a perfect nudish/pink/brown on my cheeks and Chez Chez Lame isn't really color, it's just a lt goldenish sheen on top, no glitter just sheen. But I've also heard Too Chic beauty powder from SY is just as close. I bought 1 paint pot (the copper one- Let Me Pop) & I'm part of the 50% here that doesn't experience any problems with them. However, be warned it takes patience & trial to use them. Elegant & I have recommended using only your fingers or maybe a cream-use brush and patting them down not rubbing or sweeping them on. Also, we found it's best without primer underneath & without shadows on top which make them less multi-use. There's tons of glitter but if you are patting instead of sweeping, I haven't experience any fallout except the 1st time I used it.

Btw, I also love the way the lipgelees look on the girls here, but I'm just not a glitter fan myself- it's just too much for me but maybe Straight to the Head might make it into my bag when I buy Mickey & Peacocky stuff.

BBQ is a discontinued pencil.. but I have about 6 left from my hoard when I found out it was going to be disc.... it is like a dark beigey taupe colour which is perfect for my lips but a bit difficult to describe. I have Dervish and use it when I use corals/nudes -- but my lips tend to pull pink on every liner so I always go back to BBQ.

I shouldn't buy anything anymore but I'm still really curious about Rose Ole... Are there any swatch comparisons to By Candlelight, which others have compared it too? I think I need to see for myself that it's not necessary to have. =P

I love Rose Ole, I bought it on the 26th & have worn it everyday (everyday that I wear makeup) it's less shimmery then By Candlelight - I'm an NW15 and just use it as a blush - totally worth it! that & the Soriee Nail polish are my favs from the collection.

it looks very similar to by candlelight to me but perhaps a touch more pink. so if you have that msf then maybe you can skip?

OMG, finally was able to place my order for this collection. On the first website everything was sold out in a matter of minutes, the stuff went fast like Venomous Villains, even the platinum n/p. I was not able to order one thing. After refreshing another website like crazy and waiting for it to go online, I could order I get no Kick, Bubble Lounge, Rose Ole and Soiree. I did not expect this collection to be this popular, I'm so glad I was online the moment they put it up, things are sold out again in minutes. Insane.

.....I am really suprised that so much from this collection is already sold out here in Germany!

But I am glad to hear that you got everything at least!!!

I read a few reviews about Feline moving. Of course, I got it anyway. When I wore it this weekend it ended up in my crease and near my tear ducts. Any tips on making it stay put?

I definitely prefer that to the Cham Pale promo pic! She's beautiful

Her skin looks so smooth and flawless, but of course these photos do get somewhat 'manipulated' and airbrushed sometimes, so it may all be a lie.

because it's a kohl it will move. they are meant to be smudgey. perhaps you can try and set it with a black shadow like carbon to stop it moving so much.

hee! it is a beautiful lie! photoshop be damned, i love her dark chocolate skin color.

i still haven't opened the other paint pots i bought. i am apparently trying to ignore the glitter in some crazy way to make it go away momentarily. issues.

Chez Chez Lame sounds gorgeous, thank you! And thanks for the tips with the paint pots, I'm undecided on them because I have to wear primer :( I may get Dangerous Cuvee but they do sound difficult to work with which is a shame because the colours are nice! And yeah, I can imagine the lipgelees looking really nice just worn in the centre of the lips as well. Overall I do not think I'm getting much from this collection!

I got my items when the collection came out but I haven't had a chance to post about them yet here.
I got Vintage Selection PP, Dangerous Cuvee PP, and the new Fix+.
I am not a huge fan of glitter. I prefer a frost over chunky glitters and I thought all the Paint Pots were frosty but not glittery. Vintage Selection is beautiful IMO. I have been pairing it with Shimmertime Pigment as an all over wash for my lids and just add a bit of black liner.
Dangerous Cuvee is also very pretty. When I bought my goods from the CP Collection I also picked up New Fixation Pigment from Stylishly Yours and I think these two products together are gorgeous!
And the Fix + smells amazing! I LOVE Lavender scents.
I am happy with my purchases. I have been trying to limit myself to 3 things per collection unless I am uninterested or see some "must-haves" that exceed my 3 item limit.
I wish I would have grabbed more from Stylishly Yours. I need to go back to the MAC store soon.
