Ashley, I'm still chewing on a thing or two....we'll see what tomorrow brings. Maybe it'll be a more decisive day for me.

With the texture of the e/s is there a special application technique or will using my 239,217,242 as I would for "normal" e/s application work?
Or should I use a softer fluffier sort of brush?

I'm kinda worried that I am going to have these most beautiful e/s and then not be able to apply them right!

Thanks so much for the reviews! Shontay - I wanna see that Peacocky lip! I know you will look gorgeous.
I also have really pigmented lips, so I am really glad to hear that these kissable lipsticks pull true to color.

2 of my 3 packages should be here today. I can hardly contain myself!!!!
And I am probably going to be placing a 4th order today - - all these reviews make me want it ALL!

i used the 217 to apply and blend. i did not need to pat the shadow on with a 239, the 217 did everything, no fallout at all. applied beautifully!

i wish there was a MAC video or face chart for these so I can see what the pros are using with these. Her Greyness, what brush did you find gave a good application with these shadows?

^Flaunting It is the one color that I'm going to get. I'm glad it suits you HerGreyness!

I have now increased my order to 7 of the shadows. I plan on getting back to 6.
I don't think I'll be able to go to the counter tomorrow, so I'm just going to order tonight.
I was thinking of a glass of Shiraz, but I know how I am and what happens when ordering under the influence...

darlin.. under the influence is still allowed on the internet.. I am always ordering that way.. lol

as you all know, I have been spewing about this collex.. since like forever or at least way before I was allowed to

unfair as it sounds, I do have one of each ES for my personal stash and have been enjoying them for months -- I also had one of the ls, but then they were revised so many times and I was in the throes of my hubby's passing.. that I could not continue on the ls formula which I had been working on.... but I did get to keep the originals and now I have ordered some of the colours which I love and know will enjoy.

My Odalisque and Noir Plum just got in today :) They are sooo gorgeous! :)

I'm seriously thinking about Dandizette, Unflappable and Mating Call, but we'll see where those go... I now have 5 shadows and only 1 lip colour, but I love the formula so I'd love another one! I'm thinking Strut Your Stuff and Enchantee/Vanity Fair... I think Flaunting It is really pretty, but I've never been able to pull off mauvey-colours. They make me look grey - it's so bizarre! Blooming Lovely was a major disaster on me although it's beautiful in the tube, and now I can't get rid of it!

MUFE palettes don't come with dividers. They are just rectangular metal palettes. The size is 9.75 x 5.75 vs. MAC 7.5 vs. 4.25 overall dimension. They're $10 each & shipping is a flat $8.50 no matter how many you order.

Here's a link to gossmakeupartist using his MUFE palettes for Yabi e/s. He did a video specifically addressing his love for these palettes except, naturally, I can't find it.

Found it! Around 5:21 he shows the palette & then shows it filled with large e/s:

OH, ok. (pretend there is a palm smack to the forehead smiley here)
Thanks for that link. I subscribe to him. I would have subscribed to him if he gave tutorials about watching grass grow. He's so stinkin cute!

Just got back from mac and yay! This is what I got:

Sexpectations
Noir Plum
Mating Call
Tweet Me

I've yet to play around with these beauties on my eyes but I can't wait to try out some new looks. This probably will get some heat but ... I'm a little disappointed in how the entire collection of Peacocky eyeshadows swatched. I don't know, I guess I was really expecting these to be super creamy like everyone was saying but I didn't find them that way. They were really similar in texture to some of the regular eyeshadows (talking to you Spectacle of Yourself). Spectacle of Yourself was identical to Antiqued on me and honestly I found Antiqued to be creamier which was weird.
SOY was

on my Mac parade.

Anyone else feel these weren't as creamy as you'd hoped or am I the only one?

But even if they weren't incredibly creamy, I couldn't pass up these four colors because I have nothing like them. I'm just hoping they'll look super gorgeous on, blend easy, and have little or no fallout. These really were the stars of the collection for me. If I had more money to work with I would've gotten Center Stage, Odalisque, and maybe Dandizette too.

You're not the only one, lunadestella. I swatched Unflappable at the counter and for some reason, the texture wasn't as buttery smooth as those of other shades. Dalliance, I found, was very creamy... I only came home with Tweet Me (which is love!)

I don't think all of them are creamy, e.g. Peek at You, however, some of them were a little more creamy in a smooth way than MAC's regular e/s. But, no, they are in no way creamy like Shu Uemura which is creamy like butter ... well, as much as an e/s can be. :)

Thursdaynxt19 --- OMG Tweet Me is amazing! It's probably the best of the bunch. I swatched it next to Melon pigment and even though Melon is beautiful in its own way, Tweet Me is really special. It's perfect for spring and summer. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one hehe. Chanel still has their spring collection out at my mall and I swatched their Ombres Perlees palette after going to MAC. This palette was everything I was hoping the Peacocky eyeshadows to be. Super creamy and amazing color payoff but it's $65 :/

marajode, I found the other palette link:

I love these palettes!

Is anyone else having a problem editing their post, quoting or posting? I posted the above & when I went to submit, it said I have to enter something to post. huh? And, everytime, I go to edit or quote to reply, the preview box comes up blank so I have to actually refresh the page & edit or quote again to have the text appear. What a pain!

THANK you summerblue! And I have the same question as IHEartMakeup.
where have you gotten them? looked at the MUFE site, but what I am seeing is just their product catalog, with the telling you that you can purchase MUFE products at Sephora.
(this is probably an obvious question, to which I know the answer, but I AM on glass number 2)

And I have the same probs as you with the posting. It's beyond aggravating.

Edit:

oops, I see you already answered.

It might have been the tester because for me, Unflappable was one of the best of the bunch along with Spectacle of Yourself ...the most underwhelming peek at you...and Odalisque, when I swatched it, didn't seem as pigmented/creamy either.

Summerblue, I think I'm having the same problem with the quoting. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon :)

I definitely wasn't expecting the Peacocky e/s to be as creamy as high end brands but it would've been nice if they were just a touch more. Thinking about it, the Chanel palette is looking pretty reasonable compared to what I go -- $65 for five colors vs. 4 peacocky eyeshadows for $83. But then again you get more product ... but then again quality over quantity ... ah well! I love my Peacocky!
