^^ I was looking at So Vain (online) but I wanted to cut it down to one lipcolour (Woo Me). Who knows what I'll think when/if I see it in person. So Vain looks very nice and wearable, though...like a pinky soft coral. :)

Sorry your not feeling well, Teresita! I've been sick for the last 2 weeks, but thankfully I got a peek at the Pro store before I got sick and made my later hauls online. Plus, I'm doing much better now. Hope you feel better soon!!

I was having problems with the site last night, too - unable to like any posts, and huge troubles posting anything. Everything seems to be OK for me for now, though...

Between SOY and Ego is hard! I got SoY first and got Ego later and I love them both

Do you have any dupes for either? Which colour would you get the most use of? There really is an insane amount of product - I say get whichever product you will get the most out of/hit pan on eventually.

I have a few green eyeshadows & never use them often.. but for some reason I'm always attracted towards greens haha.. but I never own anything like SoY.. I have 5 eyeshadows from this collection on my list & not sure if I should add SoY or Ego to it because I can't swatch them in person so I'm rellying on the swatches here on spectra.. How good is the texture of SoY & Ego? which colour looks more mettalic when used on eyes? TIA

Wow, tough questions! I decided to do some swatches for you to see if it will help! I really do love both of these - I find that the texture of SoY is slightly better than Ego, but they're still both amazing. As for which one looks more metallic, that's tough - on my eyes, I think Ego looks slightly more metallic when swatched dry, but SoY is much more metallic when used wet. Ego is the most flattering green shade I've come across in a long time for my skintone and eyecolour (kind of a mix of hazel/green), but SoY is so versatile and I know I will get more use out of it.

Here are some swatches to help:

Ego on left, SoY on right (dry)

Ego

SoY

Left to Right: Ego dry, Ego w/ Fix+, SoY dry, SoY w/ Fix+

I'm not wearing anything on my face (eeep!) , but in all pics I've primed with UDPP. These are all 1 wash of colour.

See? I'm not a cyclops ladies!

Hope this helps, hun!

Finally tried one of the glosses today, picked Woo Me since I had a daytime smokey eye and a bit of colour on the cheeks. I was pleasantly surprised with the kissable lip colour. It is very pigmented, applies a bit thick but super easy to sheer out, didn't look patchy and Woo Me is definitely one of the nicest nude shades I have tried! It has enough colour so it didn't wash me out, and a bit of a sheen so it didn't look flat, wasn't too sticky and once sheered out, didn't feel heavy either. The staying power wasn't all that great, but I'm sure that had a lot to do with the fact that I did blot it quite a bit.

Teresita, So Vain was the first one of these that I picked out, it really is a beautiful colour!

In case anyone's curious, Dalliance and Unflappable are the only 2 that are sold out on the Canadian site from Peacocky... Odalisque and Noir Plum are still there! :)

Thank you sooo much for doing this

I really appreciate it.. looking at both of the colors on you makes it really hard to decide.. I think both of them look really nice on you but looking much longer I think SoY stands out more to me.. It just give you this really nice warmth on your face (like I could stare at your eyes forever.. really!!) so I think I will go with SoY if I ever decide to add more to my wishlist.. Once again thank you so much!!

I ditto you about SoY ad Ego.
I think SoY reflects better on the lid than Ego.
and Ego is one of the most flattering greens.

fferonica, I'm kinda like you in that I am attracted to greens, but I hardly wear them because it's hard for me to find one that is flattering on my eye(s).

That said, I would go with SoY. I find it really versatile, looks good in crease, on lid, lined on the bottom lid. And like Jenn says, it's even more stunning when used wet.

oh, heck.....

my answer would be both.

I tried a look this morning that I didn't care for. I tried Prance with Ego in the crease. Then I tried Ego with Centre Stage in the crease. I was in a rush and it just didn't come together for me. Prance is off on my skin tone for some reason. I love it in the inner corner and it's just ok on the brow, but it doesn't work for me any place else. Ego is great and Centre Stage is amazing! It's the easiest shadow to blend that I have ever tried in my life. I will try again when I have my usual amount of time. I just got So Vain and it's pretty good. It's not quite as awesome as Made to Order lipstick, but it's in that general area of awesomeness. Ha!

Well, ladies, I did another look... tried to be daring and mix up some colours... and, I got a full face pic!
amazed.gif

I used SoY, Dandizette and Dalliance.

Face:
MAC Prep + Prime
MAC Face & Body Foundation in C1
Benefit Erase Paste in No. 2
Benefit Boi-ing in 01/02
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light
MAC Dainty Mineralize Blush
MAC By Candlelight MSF

Eyes:
UDPP
MAC SoY over lid
MAC Dandizette in outer corner/crease
MAC Dalliance as a highlight
MAC Siahi Fluidline
MAC Black Swan Pearlglide (for tightlining)
Lancome Definicils mascara

Lips:
MAC Woo Me

Sorry my lighting is so hit and miss!

I really like these colours together! It's not something I'd do everyday, but they do make a gorgeous smokey eye! Although it's hard to see Siahi in these pictures (It's probably easiest to see in the top picture), it really pulled the colours together for me! :) And Woo Me is just the PERFECT nude colour for an intense smokey eye
love.gif

Dandizette was the colour I was the least sold on because I had no idea how I would use it (I rarely touch blues), but this look proves to me that it was worth the investment! :) Hope it gives some of you ideas!

Annnd I promise to stop spamming this thread with all my Peacocky looks - I'm just having so much playing and wanted to share!

i finally got my order today. the ice in my driveway sucks donkey balls, but finally got it cleared today. sheesh.

i liked the shadows okay. they feel nice, but i don't think i want more than the two i bought (Spectacle of You and Tweet Me). Super was nice, but Flaunting It isn't doing it for me. I think I need a butterfinger in order to make a decision on that one.
