I need help from you very wise make up women, who already talked me into getting toooooo many shadows from this collection....!!!! (I mean - I didn´t even post in this thread, and I am hooked just reading...!!

)

I had a friend buy the 7 shadows... (SEVEN!!!!) I was sure I wanted to get in the UK since it´s cheaper there, but I am on the fence about 3, and after reading here today 4 actually!!! And I should sooo stop, but they are so gorgeous!

And now for the questions - Paparrazz-she for green eyes, NC25 skin - what are your thoughts?? (I love Paradisco and Samoa Silk by the way and use them pretty often..)
Can I pull it off for daytime looks also?
And then I am suddenly thinking about Mating Call too... I bought Noir Plum and it seems like those two are a perfect match??? But since I have to stop somewhere I am thinking that there might be dupes???? Otherwise I have to choose between MC and Ego....

And lastly - I love Shroom, but is the formula enough to justify buying Peek At You??

Hope you can help - I know you guys are the people to ask

I think Peek At You and Mating Call aren't very unique. But Paparazz-she is absolutely beautiful! You can definitely wear it for daytime looks. I think Samoa Silk used in the crease to blend out Paparazz-she works great. Then you can use a darker brown in the crease and you have a daytime look! HTH!

Paparazz-she. I think it's a must have. If you're going to get 4 of these shadows, I would sooooo recommend Paparazz she to be one of them.
I have used it sooooo much. Daytime, night, anytime. It's incredibly pretty on the eye, and looks good with so many colors, surprising how many colors it looks good with. It's the most pigmented of the shadows I think.

My faves are Paparazzshe, Spectacle of Yourself, Centre Stage, Dalliance, Prance, Dandizette.
Incredibly pretty, and even more so, versatile.

Shoot, I can't believe I left off Tweet Me.
That's one of my top 4 used.

Okay, I am no help.

You are a great help!!! You are all convincing me that I need Papparazz-She in my life :) And since I got Tweet Me, Centre Stage, Spectacle of Yourself, Prance, Unflappable, Noir Plum, Dalliance, it sounds like we have some of the same favourites....
So to finish of this haul I can see I need some orange - and maybe Ego... And skip on Mating Call and Peek At You... I think...... Or.... OMG - these shadows are killing me and my wallet - they are so gorgeous!!!

They are softer, but if you want to depot, don't be scared. I say that, and I was Shakey the Moyle (mohel) when I was depotting.
The first one I depotted I was a little too quick and didn't go as slowly as you need to. Once you know they are soft, and know that you need to just go slow, it's all good. I use the no heat method. The first part, taking the shadow out of the main container, is the most delicate, I found.
The first one I did break, well, it cracked on me. (I can't tell you how upset I was). But I added drops of 90% alcohol, and repressed where the crack was. It's all better, recovered, and almost imperceptible where it broke. It also hasn't affected my ability to use it, or hardened it. kwim?

Just remember, when taking the shadow, in the plastic pan, out of the main container, slowly go around the edge to the lips that are holding it in; the lips are at 3 oclock, and 9 oclock.

I don't think I'm making a lick of sense, or explaining very well.
I'm going to get more caffeine.

I'm tempted to depot the shadows but am so afraid as they seem quite soft....sigh

If you have to X something from the list, then X Mating Call although I love it. It's a nice lavender with pink sheen and while it would seem like those shades are a dime a dozen, I don't have anything quite like it, but apparently it is close to Dream Maker, which I don't have. But then when I swatched Ego next to my Antique Green pigment the two were really similar. So maybe get Mating Call but leave Ego? This is so hard and I am no help.

That's really strange indeed! here a peacocky eyeshadow costs 22 Euro.. and 22Euro = 29,8$ !!! but you, Kanne, pay the double of the original price!!
Anyway.. Is life in Australia more expensive than in Usa? Does people take a bigger salary? or it's only about make up?

I've wondered about that too. Like is soda $5 AUD? Or a candy bar $3 AUD?

I second all this - also take your time when releasing the glued pan - if it twists too much it may crack, but if you noticed that happening just start again and go suuuper slow. You can also gently press the shadows back into the pan if you notice them popping out a bit. The one I cracked was my first one as well, and it was because I was so jittery. It will be worth it to have all of these in one place!!!

I was playing with my Peacocky shadows today. I used Dalliance on the lids, Odalisque on outer 1/3 and crease, added bit of purple from Spring Forecast 3 quad. Dalliance isn't really showing on the picture. I think the lights are not so great in my apartment.

On this one I wear Super.

This one with Flaunting It.

Please forgive my messy background

. My MU skills aren't that great (yet, I hope) but I'd just like to share :D.

You look gorgeous! Those lip colours are so flattering on you :) Too bad it's hard to see the shadows - I'm sure the colours are gorgeous in real life! I looove that combo :) Get a closed-eye shot for us next time so we can really see how you put everything together! :) The lighting in my place is very strange, too, so I have trouble capturing the colours all the time.

I couldn't agree more with marajode. The first phase is the most difficult one and you have to be extra careful and take it very slowly. You can see when the pan starts to bend too much, for me it looked like the eyeshadow's about to pop out from the pan. That's when I stopped forcing it too much and continued slowly around the edges just like marajode explained. They're soft and I was scared too but managed to depot both of my mega metals without breaking them.

Paparazz-she is a must-have and can definitely be used for everyday, especially if smoked out with browns :) It will be gorgeous with your eye and skin colours!!

Mating Call you can skip, just because it's the most dupable and isn't as great texture-wise as some of the others, but it's still lovely and finding something similar to pair with NP will be worth your while :) Ego is GORGEOUS and you need it - it is a little more sheer than some of the others, but it really shines when used wet and is absolutely phenomenal with Dalliance. I would also say to pass on Peek At You - I don't own it, but people haven't been nearly as impressed with this one as with others. :)

Thanks a lot for your input JennsJewels :) I am narrowing it in which I need with 8 shadows in the haul already

I wanted to thank all the ladies here for sharing the looks that you're doing with these shadows. It's wonderful to get ideas of what I can try.

I also feel like I have to jump in here and defend Mating Call. I have a LOT of purple shadows and I actually don't find there's any real dupes at all. Maybe in past LE collections, but it really doesn't look like any of the current light-to-medium purple shades. It's more pink than Beautiful Iris, darker and pinker than Digit... I don't find it very similar to Violet pigment. Personally, I find this colour to be a real winner- it was one of the first ones that I picked up.

Whichever ones you get, I would start your picks based on colours you love and use all the time. Then move out from there to colours you'd like to try. There really isn't a true dud in the whole lot. Happy shopping!

Thank you from me too - it is very inspiring for us, who get the collections later on...

I am a purple whore, so I am really thinking I might get more use out of Mating Call than Ego - or maybe I should just end my haul getting Paparazz-she, Mating Call and Ego and skip Peek At You even though I would probably use that a lot - but 10 shadows is the absolute limit (and a nice round number!!!), and then I won´t be buying more MAC for a while... Doesn´t matter though, as I will loooooove these for a long time :)
