Ok, I am tempted to get rid of Sexpectations, Dandizette, Odalisque and Unflappable I can't figure out what to do with them. Any suggestions? I'm not used to working with blues, greys and teals. On me, sexpectations is more pink, and unflappable is just dull.

ALso, can any of these colors be used to dupe the Spiced chocolate quad, I wasn't into MAC then and really missed out. I was thinking I could use paparrazshe, sexpectations, and centerstage???

A coloured base can make a huge difference. I love Danzidette over Constructivist (dark brown) paint pot, it makes some beautiful violet tones pop up from Danzidette. Gorgeous! Also Unflappable can be very interesting just changing the base colour, try it over purples, blacks or what comes to your minds, there are so many combos to try. :) A dark brown/red base could make Sexpectations more burgundy.

The colours you mentioned are similar, but not exactly dupes when it comes to Spiced Chocolate quad. But for sure you could create something very close to it with those colours!

^^I thought the same about Unflappable when I just got it. Felt totally ripped off because it was so hard to get decent colour payoff and it was nothing like I thought it was gonna be (ugly, muddy brown). You most definitely need to use a primer for it to get a smooth application, but most of all, you need to use a base, and you get some really stunning colours out of it. My favourite so far is over a peach creme base and in the outer corner and crease over the top of Nude Slip (revlon). It's this gorgeous soft browny-purple. To get the pan colour, try it over a silver creme shadow.

The shades you listed are reminiscent of the Spiced Chocolate Quad. I skipped the SC Quad and duped it with Coppering, Cranberry, Embark and Seedy Pearl.

Ohh, please don't get rid of them. Unflappable is such a beautiful colour. Use it on a black or brown base (greasepaint stick perhaps, or paint pot?) as a crease colour for lighter combinations like gold hued shadows or even fig. 1. Dandizette is so gorgeous but I'm still playing around with mine, trying to figure out what to combine it with. I have Odalisque and am hoping to figure out how to use it - I think it is a pretty teal shade.

Sexpectations is a very nice crease colour. Perhaps you could try using it with Espresso? or something simple like Cork or Wedge? These basic colours might help make Sexpectations shine :) Good luck!

Which gold would you use? I have Woodwinked .. would that work? or maybe Bronze?
woodwinked would work. in fact maybe you could use woodwinked on the lid and odalesque in the outer v area. usually i use lighter golds - like gold dusk pigment :) using it with dalliance from this collection is good too!

Argh, I missed out on Dalliance. I had set a limit for myself to only get 4 shadows so I picked up Odalisque, Noir Plum, Dandizette and Papparazz-she. Now I'm kicking myself because I want Dalliance. Ah, I'm never satisfied :)

It's really gorgeous.

Do you have Oomph? It goes wonderfully well with Papparaz-she. Oomph in crease + outer corner :)

If you guys missed out on this collection, look around. I was able to get Dalliance from Nordstrom on MIchigan Ave. in Chicago last Friday.

Thank you thank you thank you so much for all of the tips... I might need you all to tell me how to wear some of the other LE stuff I just had to get. (De-Vil and Vainglorious eyeshadows, palace pedigree quad (do I really need more purple), cavair dreams quad, vintage selection, dangerous cuvee, and dark dervision), LOL

What is a good peach cream base? Rubenesque? I need to get Indianwood and Contructionvist (never thought I'd use that since it is so dark). I have the French Qtr grease paint stick (haven't used that either LOL).

I love the idea of putting Odalisque with gold.
So cool, I can kinda dupe the Spiced Chocolate quad.
Sexpectations with wedge would be pretty. I read somewhere ppl were wearing it alone... Uh, not sure I can pull that off. LOL

Just realized Odalisque is almost identical to Cool Heat, and I keep Cool Heat in my never wear drawer. LOL

I originally got PAY over Dalliance, now I wish I hadn't gotten PAY.
I orginally got Tweet me, and it is starting not to work for me. Maybe I just need to go to bed and start again in the AM. LOL

sorry I quoted the wrong person...

I am so happy that Dalliance will come on Tuesday and Ego on Monday! I cannot wait to get them. I'm going to compare Ego with Humid. From what I remember is that Ego is greener than Humid. I could be wrong though.

IMHO, humid and ego are nothing alike. Humid is more of a yellow green and Ego has more blue/teal in it. Ego is also one of those colors that is sheerer than the other Pcocky colors.

I didn't get Paparrazshe b/c the oranges and colors like amber lights don't look good on me. After listening to you all I kinda wish I gave it a try. These were so popular they have to come back.

My future permanent purchases will be paint pots such as painterly, blackground and maybe Rubenesque... I want to try my peacocky eyeshadows on different bases (I still don't have an eyeshadow base in my collection!)
