I just re-ordered Amazon Princess, Overdyed and Indigo pink from Debenhams and I'm sooooo freaking scared that some of the products are going to be out of stock!

It was a fairly recent one - I remember thinking it wouldn't work until I swatched it. I guess I'll have to go dig through my stuff to see. It didn't pull that purpley on me because of the berry. Uggh, I'll probably just get it. Thanks for the comparisons!

No, I thought it was the lipstick that came out with So This Season gloss - like the coordinating lipstick from that same collection. What is the name of that collection? or maybe I am losing it

But, I just saw Katreds swatches of QTT & now I may have to get that one too.

Is anyone liking the shadows???

I thought Stovepipe was kind of similar (maybe just a tad darker) than my beloved Bobbi Brown Fog es

I don't have BB Fog, but I do like Stovepipe Black quite a bit. I find that these ones don't have the staying power of the best eye shadows, but the colour is still a very nice deep charcoal grey with a beautiful sheen. There isn't another Mac one like it.

I wasn't interested in this collection at first but managed to get pulled in after seeing all the pretty pictures of Pink Cult blush.

Went through my makeup stash and found the Tone:Grey quad from 2009 and thought that bits of this collection would go perfectly with it. Love when I can mix old and new stuff like this.

For anyone in Toronto, I think the Eaton Centre store still has everything in this collection but it was busy when I went on my lunch break. (The RBC store was sold out of Pink Cult and the wonderful SA called the EC store to put it on hold for me.)

Can't wait to get home and play!

So glad you brought up Tone Grey! I've been wondering when to wear it since buying it a mont ago and since I just bought 2 items (Acid Washed and Overdyed) from this collection which I previously refused to look at, I'm glad I can maximize the items I have. =D

Check that, make it 4 items. I almost forgot I just ordered Riveting Rose and Pink Cult. I was going to wait 2 weeks and see if they're still around but I was thinking about them so much on the way back home.... eugh, what weak resolve!

Btw, for fellow Torontonians, Fairview has the whole collection and not too many people seemed interested in it. That might change after the weekend tho.

I'm in the same boat. I was too young to realise quite how ugly they were... Worst of all, the one pair I bought was the best and most flattering pair of jeans I've ever owned. I was 13 or 14 at the time and they were the one article of clothing I owned that made me think I could be good looking. I remember about a year after I bought them, when I figured out that they weren't something I wanted to be seen in, I tried bleaching them in the sink and I killed them.

What's completely scary is that I see more and more people wearing acid washed denim now... IT'S COMING BACK.

None of this should take away from the lipstick, which is a lovely little gem IMHO.

It's been many many moons since I had only 13 lippies.

I got to the counter, swatched, tried on, and was a little disappointed in the results. MAC did not eat my wallet this time.

Well Dressed shows up so well on me at NC25 that I hoped Pink Cult would be pigmented enough. Alas while it swatched pink, it pulled brownish on my cheeks, not very much different than Cubic looks.

Rivetting Rose l/s was okay, but I still have lots of Flitter l/s left and that is more flattering, so I skipped it. Acid Washed and Pretty Please barely showed up on my pigmented lips. I'm sure they'd make a nice over coat for a darker lipstick but that's not something I usually do.

I didn't bother much with the e/s because I'm not a fan of the bigger size and the bigger price tag.

I loved the look of Overdyed on me, even though I had a little trouble getting it to apply evenly on moisturized but bare skin with a MAC 129 brush. I bought it then went out for dinner, but by the time I got home 4 hours later there was no trace of colour left on my cheeks. I have never had a blush disappear that quickly before even when I don't set it with powder. Maybe it was just the tester so I'll try it again in the next few days and see what happens.
