I picked up my Pink Cult today, what a lovely neutral pink. I will be getting a lot of use outta this one :)
i feel like some sort of crazy lipstick lady - all alone in a house surrounded by lipsticks! i've got close on 60! still need to go get acid washed and add it to my collection... yessss my precioussss
I don't even dare counting my lipsticks. I'm a total lip product addicts and been collecting for a looooong time. My guess is I've got somewhere between 80-90 tubes of lipsticks :/

I went to the MAC counter today to purchase Pink Cult. I actually swatched it, put it down and walked away. I was shocked at how much people were liking it Ut seemed really chalky or something was off. I got half way down the mall and decided to go back again because I thought I must be missing something. Well, low and behold after doing a heavier swatch, I am now thinking of a backup. It IS THE PERFECT PINK. I imagine that this would look nice on any skin tone. For those of you who are uncertain whether or not to purchase this, hurry.

^^^ luckyme - thats funny. Thats what I refer to as a color 'haunting' us. Glad you went back & that it worked out for you. MAC does do an amazing job with their blushes.

I see where Overdyed blush is now sold out. I expect Acid Wash & RR lippies to sell out too

Elegant, thank you so much for the pictures. I went and got Pink Cult today and got the last one at my counter! I can't wait to try it tomorrow :)

Other than foundation, this was my first MAC purchase since Sassy Grass e/s back in the summer. I haven't bought MAC in ages. Felt good to get a little fix, and I was completely satisfied walking away with ONE product. So proud of myself! :)

Thanks for all your support ladies! As soon as I came home I couldnt wait to tell you what happened

So I just got back from the counter. They didnt get Acid Washed or Riviting Rose yet! The MA didnt know why, but they will get it eventually. I got Pink Cult blush though, LOVE LOVE it! Such a pretty pink. A lot more pigmented than I thought it would be. I also got my first liquid foundation and the Lady Gaga 1 gloss, I LOVE the gloss! My new fav lippy. They had the lipstick out but didnt have any in stock. I was like wtf. The MA actually talked me into the gloss and she was right! She was very very sweet and I look forward to seeing her at the counter more now that I know we have one. I made sure I let her know I love MAC and really want to work there, I'm glad I went down there even though thier not hiring. I think I'm good with the items I got from this collection, cant wait to get RR and Docile in the mail on Wed. Now its time fro QC!

They said they wernt hiring but I can apply for Freelance. She said come down later on, on a week day and bring in a resume highlighting my customer service skills and talk to the boss. I asked if you need experience she said not necessarily. I told her I had good customer service and knew a lot about MAC.

They are having an event there with some MAC MA's from NY and such coming next Sat. You get a one on one with them and they give you makeup tips and such. I signed up :) I had to pay $50 today but its just to hold your spot. They put it on a giftcard. Then you can use your giftcard at MAC. But imma wait and use it for QC :)

^ Yay! You're absolutely right to get your name in there, so that you're in their heads even before they're look for someone. I know that doing freelance work has been good for some people as a way to get a foot in the door, so if they're able to give you some time, go for it! I really hope this turns into a job for you!

That's weird that they hadn't got those lipsticks yet, but I suppose it's a way of spreading out your spending...

I wore Pink Cult today and really like it.It is quite pigmented from what it appears in the pan.

I forgot to check out the lippies when I was there Thursday. I meant to look at Acid Washed because I thought it would be good for layering. That is why I bought Bubbles l/s. It's great to tone down some of those l/s that I bought on impulse and are too bright or dark for me, or just to change the color up a little.

I love everything I ordered from this collection!!

Pink Cult is just lovely on and so highly pigmented on my skin! Stovepipe looks gorgeous on too, its like a grey charcoal with a hint of sheen, makes a lovely crease colour. Overdyed is a definite 'POP' blush, as in once applied it makes my whole face 'pop'

I haven't tried Acid Washed yet - ordered those later, and it's not due to arrive til mid next week.

I must post a FOTD soon...I did a lovely natural look yesterday with just Pink Cult blush, and a Stovepipe eyeshadow over a Painterly base...it looked so brightening and fresh!

I met my friend at MAC yesterday to get her m/u done by my friend/mua. She's just learning about makeup so it was a real treat to her :D. Anyway she did a really pretty smokey look using DID on all over her lid then MH on the outer 2/3/crease with Nehru on the very outer corner and some into the crease. She used KID to blend the MH into the brow then lined the waterline with black....not sure what liner and then somewhat under the lash line. Then she did something I thought was so pretty was she took Stars & Rockets over the black liner that was under the lash line which turned it into a really pretty purply blue. It was sooo pretty!! Then she used Acid Washed and Docile l/g over top. I took pics but only had my camera phone so it's nothing where you can really see what she did but it was the prettiest look I've seen with such basic colors that she's done :D. She also used one of the new Cream blushes Something Special with the 130.

Michelle it sounds like your friend had a lovely time! and yeah starts and rockets is awesome over a dark base!! i do that with pink pearl pigment too - i use delft paint pot as a base so that it goes a greeny blue colour. :)

OK guys ya'll are making me want Stovepipe. I need to check it out, sounds pretty.

Flaminbird, that sounds gorgeous. I love Stars & Rockets so pretty.

I have a question. I pulled out the other day to show my daughter and it wasn't swatching very well. I noticed it had that hard kind of look on top of it. I don't remember using it wet but it has been a while since I've used it. Can I save it or do I need to replace it? I didn't know if I should try to gently scrape the top layer off or I thought somewhere I read someone using alcohol. Any suggestions?

Yeah it was really pretty. I just wish I could've gotten decent pics. My mua/friend told me that Deep Truth was pretty darn close to Stovepipe.
