Glam Queen, I've been eyeing some of those paint pots as well, I think I need to take a break from hauling the LE's and get some of the permanent stuff up to date. Right now I have coral crepe, rubenesque, and fresco rose.

Undercurrent, hunh? See how you guys are? LOL

Really|? I will have to try Unflappable wet, I can't find paparazshe anywhere, I wish I would have at least tried it on before ruling it out. Oh well. I noticed that they are bringing WW colors back, maybe they will do that with these? I'm going to call my local MAC counters and see if they have it stashed somewehre.

I don't have bloodline... sorry... is that a pigment?

^bloodline is a pigment from a Tartan Tale holiday collection.

Indianwood paintpot. How do I love thee???
I can't live without that painpot. It's gorgeous. beautiful.
And with woodwinked over it? they were made to play together.

I really need to get Rubenesque.

Unflappable is so blah on me. One of the only things from this whole collection that I don't love.
I'll try it wet though, Kiss.

I lost my Woo Me this weekend. I was in a phase of really loving that lipstick with In Synch liner too.
I'm trying to not be too irked.

I need to finally break down and make a signature. It would definitely include "Team Peacocky"
My absolute fave collection in a long time.

Ahhh, Ego and Dalliance. I wore them together both days this weekend. With Mulled Cider along bottom lash..
I have a hard time wearing greens for some reason, but I really love Ego lately. I was on a Prance kick until about 4 days ago. Now the tide has gone back to Dalliance.
those two are love!

I haven't given mine some love in a while, mostly because my schedule's been crazy and I've been doing really quick neutral looks, but also because my Centre Stage has cracked in my palette, and I'm trying not to disturb it until I have the time to fix and press it with alcohol!!! Can't wait to get back to these, though... they are my babies, my absolute favourite eyeshadows ever!!!! :)

Marajode, I am so sorry about your Woo Me!!! :( Everything is still in stock on the Canadian site if you need someone to CP for it for you, though! :)

I'm kinda disappointed with Dalliance..I've only used it twice, I'm not sure how to wear it. Might try it with that green from the Chanel quint one weekend.

Unflappable on the other hand..I was so disappointed with it when I got it and first swatched it. I wear it every day!

I was disappointed with Prance. So far the only one I have kept on my counter is Tweet Me. Still haven't touched Spectacle of Yourself, haven't been in a brown mood lately.

I used Dalliance yesterday with Undercurrent eyeliner. Now that was a fire combo. Since Dalliance pulls a little gold and a little green, the two seemed to be made for each other. You all must try it!

I did today! I also used Strike a pose in the crease and a goldish liner (UD 24/7 Honey) on the lower lashline. It looks delish! Thanks for the suggestion!

My Golden Lariat is cracking terribly, I'm not even abusing it, do you think I can use alcohol on it as well?

generally it is stuff that didn't sell well or sell out in the first place. but sometimes you can find some awesome gems at a cco! sadly though they usually have limited colours for foundation and stuff. they usually have lots of pigments though which is good for me!

I've only worn it twice since I bought it, both times in a smoky eye with Unflappable, once over a peachy cream shadow base and the other time just over a foundation base. It's too frosty for every day wear and I'm not sure what other colours to pair it with...

I'm kind of overwhelmed with my makeup collection at the moment. I've accumulated a huge amount in a short period of time, I'm almost embarrassed about it, and to think about the amount of money I've spent on makeup, when in reality, I own less than a suitcase full of clothes. I've got enough makeup, and don't need to buy any more (luckily nothing in these new collections interest me), but I have all these products that I've hardly- or never - used...I don't even know where to start.

^ I think we all feel that way at some point. Having a crazy love for makeup and being a member of specktra.net will do that to you lol
There are so many collections, so many pretty colors and different shades of this or that....endless makeup :) Sometimes it helps to just say I will not buy from this collection and stick to it. That's why I love the shop your stash thread on here (need to revisit that thread). Maybe if you take a look at what you already have and play around with those items, you'll forget about the hype of some of the newer or upcoming stuff long enough to realize that you can really wait for some of them to hit a CCO....at least that will give you time to get mroe use out of what you already have and save some $. And who knows...maybe by the time you feel less guilty about all the size of your collection or the $ spent, one or more of the things you missed out on will be repromoted (as MAC often does). At least this is the line of thinking that helps me :)

I hear you babe - I feel that way too hence I skipped Wonder Woman and most of Jeanius. It's fun to have all these nice items in our stash but at the same time I feel pressured to use the items and then get a bit uncomfortable and guilty when I realize that I haven't touched them at all.

I guess we all have our "vices" or "passions" and makeup is ours. Don't be hard on yourself and feel embarrassed. Enjoy what you have and try not to buy *all* the hyped items, perhaps? I try very hard to tell myself that I don't necessarily need *all* the colours and shades...it helps :)

oh don't worry! and certainly don't be embarrassed. unless you are buying make up when you should be spending your money on bills and other necessities then you are fine. take your time to play with what you have bought and enjoy it!

I am in the same boat of feeling overwhelmed, when I got VV I didn't start using it until November or December. I only played with a few Peacocky colors. I also see how much I've spent since this summer and I'm astounded. LOL

I love Dalliance! I think you can combine it with so many different shades, warm and cool, at least with my colouring (NC15-20). I think Dalliance shifts from white gold to almost cool green depending what colours I use with it. Here're some Peacocky combos I really like but you can definitely use other similar shades too:

1) Dalliance, Paparazz-She and SoY
2) Dalliance & Centre Stage
3) Any minty green cream eyeshadow/pp/eyeliner as a base + Dalliance&Centre Stage (or any neutral brown) = a mint chocolate look
4) Dalliance & Noir Plum or any similar true purple
5) Dalliance & Ego/Oomph/Humid/some other dark green
6) Dalliance & any turquoise shade

I just got the Superslick Liner in Desires&Devices and it looks gorgeous with Dalliance. I think somebody mentioned Undercurrent with Dalliance and I really liked that too, just smudged some Undercurrent on my outer lid and patted Dalliance on the inner lid and over Undercurrent too. Black Line + Dalliance was also a great combo.

I'm pretty sure Dalliance would look great with some warmer purples/plums too but I haven't tried those yet. I seem to go for Dalliance+PRS+SoY most often.

use it wet or with mix medium..all the colours are interchangeable/mixable too.

don't give, just use your creativity.
