Waiting must be very hard, but knowing ahead of time what people are loving could help you narrow down your selections...and living only ten minutes from an addiction could be dangerous

Yes it is really helpfull to see what other people like first, but a month or more between the release in the US and here is really too much. I can handle living ten minutes from my addiction. The nice thing is i can walk in, swatch stuff and talk to the MAs about make up whenever i want! I don't have anyone in my life that is really interested in make up, so being able to talk to the MAs there is really nice. I went in a lot of the time without even buying anything!

Yesterday, I wore Hang Loose (apple of my cheek) over Pink Cult. I'm loving this combo lately.

Yesterday, I wore Hang Loose (apple of my cheek) over Pink Cult. I'm loving this combo lately.

It would have been the same with Mickey Contractor for me, but in the end i decided to skip. I'm sure i will love Pink Cult and Overdyed! Luckily Quite Cute won't come out a month after the US. It looks like we'll get it earlier than the US! I can't wait!

Oooh you have me tempted!!! I wasn't impressed with this collection and only got stovepipe black, and waiting for pink cult.

My Mini-Review:


Indigo Pink (gloss) I love this lippy. It looks like it is going to be too dark on my very pale skin and not so pigmented lips but it is a beautiful plummy pink. It reminds me of Nice Kitty only more opaque and slightly more purple. This is close to a MLBB for me. Don't fear the darkness of the lipgloss if you are pale like me, it works. (I am a NC15 for reference)

Docile (gloss) Really love the microglittery shimmerness of this. It is a cool-based light, slightly milky and pearlescent lavender-pink. I don't think its terribly unique, but it appears that it would work for just about anyone unless you cannot wear cool tones or just hate shimmer. And I don't have anything quite like it.

Riveting Rose (Frost L/S) Not frosty to me at all, this could have been a glaze. It has sheer berry-fuschia tones with tiny fuschia microglitters/shimmer. I would say this would have been great for Fall. It reminds me of Kittenish only more plum and no brown tones at all. The color can be sheered out or built up. I don't really think of this tone as the color of a rose, but it is quite pretty. I may save it for Fall.

Pink Cult (blush) looks ho hum in the pan but may be my most natural looking blush ever. This is absolutely beautiful and I don't have anything like it. For me this is a mauve-pink that really looks like my natural cheek color.

Diva In Distress (eyeshadow) I know its a gimmicky looking eyeshadow and I will never use the whole thing but it is very pretty. This is a light, grey, icy blue with silver shimmer. It looks really pretty on the lower lashline. Normally I don't like light blue but this is really more of a blue toned light gray. I did not swatch the silver overspray so I can't tell you what it looks like.

Now I think I want to get the Overdyed blush and the white toned lipstick (Acid washed is the name I think?)

I was going to pass altogether on this collection, but picked up Biker Blue and the brown penultimate brow liner for my sister in law's birthday on Wednesday - fell in love with the nailpolish and went back got my own yesterday I put it on today and love the colour, but a little disappointed that it took four coats to get it opaque and there is some serious tip creep going on What's up with that?

oh that sucks to be fair i don't like mac polishes that much. they look great in the bottle but because you have to do so many layers they chip easy.

This was my first MAC polish, I understand why a lot of people don't like them now I can put up with a bit of chipping if it's not too pricey, but I expect more from an $NZD 28 bottle of polish Booooo MAC!

It took FOUR COATS to get opaque?! I'm soooo glad I decided not to buy it! It's very pretty but not unique enough!

I tried on Pink Cult in the store and fell in love. I have to order it online though, and have to wait a few more days, it was rent week this week. LOL Hopefully it will still be there. IT was like you guys said, chalky and just blah on my hand, and then I tried it on, and VOILA! Beautiful.
