I did a comparison with Hollywood Nights in the swatch thread, but of course it doesn't show the neon in CYY either, stupid camera! Hollywood Nights is darker and doesn't have the neon, so they are quite different.

Its Good to hear that Hollywood nights and CYY aren't comparable, because someone had mentioned a few pages back that they thought Candy Yum Yum and Nars Schiap were almost the same... I happen to own schiap and hollywood nights, and I find those two to be ALMOST exact... I would have died if CYY ended up being their long lost triplet. haha

Wow. Sleeping in late is not conducive to keeping up with this thread. :lol: Glad to see all you ladies rocking and loving CYY. I played with my liners just a bit last night and Boldly Bare is such a winner. It can be worn with just about anything. In Synch is trickier, but it will come in handy. OT, but I'm psyched because I just got a Sephora VIB discount offer for the 14 - 21. I am going to lose my mind. hboy:

MAC website had been like that for a few days because I made and order last Sunday, called CS Thursday because it was still "pending", the lady told me about the crashed system and that probably my order would be send on Friday(Today) and I will be receiving it next week. Well, actually today around 1 pm I received my goodies and still says "pending" online! So ladies don't lose hope, like elegant-one said "They are expediting everyone orders".

On the other hand, I'm lovin' how Candy Yum Yum looks on everyone, It's so flattering that make me want to buy it!

I noticed a few ladies saying they wished Sakura was more lilac toned and I know I posted this in my previous post but if you haven't tried using just the purple w/o the heart mixed in.. you don't know what you're missing lol I don't use the heart mixed in at all when it comes to application on my actual cheeks because it just shows up average pinky toned.. not such a unique color when swirled together imo

I got to play with my Quite Cute stuff today and I hate to say it, but the quad is so disappointing. The purples worked fine for me, but the white and pink were too hard to work with - and I'm not gifted at blending to begin with. I might give it one more try before returning it. Candy Yum Yum, on the other hand, I am in love with! It's funny because the first time I heard about the collection I had to have the quad and I didn't even care about CYY. Here are some pics:

[/quote] Yeah, I wanted to do an order update yesterday and they said system wasn't working. I received an email just a few minutes ago though, they're online again. That happened when VV launched last year. I called 4 days after I ordered online and my status was 'pending', but the lady told me it was shipped 2 days earlier, I received it and the status was still pending and remained like that for 3 days :barf:

I got to play with my Quite Cute stuff today and I hate to say it, but the quad is so disappointing. sally hanson extreme wear has a dupe of the mint one it's called mint sorbet. i have it. & sephora brand nail polish in teeny bikini is similar. i was at walmart today and i saw that the sally hanson extreme wear has a similar color to "little girl type". i feel into the hype of MAC and i had already ordered little girl type and ice cream cake. they are all dupable

I forgot to post what I got yesterday! I ended up buying Candy Yum Yum and Giggly mineralize blush. There was only 3 CYY left so I panicked and bought it.

LOL! I wanted to get all three nail lacquers as well but all three kind of looks dupable.
