I was going to skip the Big Bounce eyeshadow because of all the bad reviews. I saw them today and I purchased three of them. I have been wearing Free as air for about 4 hours with no creasing. I am not wearing it as an eyeshadow base, there is no eyeshadow on top of it. I was able to get a very nice opaque application the first time with no problems. This is a very beautiful eyeshadow and wearing it as an eyeshadow base does it no justice. I applied Too Faced shadow insurance then Ben Nye Cosmic blue cream eyeshadow and on top of that I applied Free As Air and it's beautiful. I love this product and I plan to purchase all of them. I can take a picture of it on my eye if anyone wants to see it.
Please take a picture! Free As Air is the colour that i like the most and i would love to see how it looks over a colour like Ben Nye Cosmic.

[/quote] I'm on the not entirely positive bandwagon about these shadows. I received every color in the mail today and so far so good! I've worn rich thrills all day today no base or anything, and it is staying just fine, no creasing. My method was to grab a 242, add enough shadow for the application and leave it to dry a tiny bit for maybe a minute or so the same way I make my duo lash glue tacky, and then apply a coat. I let that dry for about 2 minutes and did the same thing over again. The result was a lasting shadow that isn't creasing after 6 hours of wear. I cannot fairly agree that this formula is the unpigmented horrible goopy mess some of the reviews would have you believe it is. The colors are actually quite nice and well pigmented. Things I don't like about these shadows? They really are not impossible to use but they ARE runny, not quite the texture I think of when I think of cream or even mousse. Take cover girl dream mousse and add a tablespoon of water and there you have it! Lol They don't blend well with each other so you end up layering vs blending which is easy to screw up with these. If you layer them while they're too wet they slide everywhere. If you layer once it dries it feathers so you really have to be patient and know what you're doing to use more than one of the colors at a time. Honestly, I'm really torn about keeping them myself because while I have definitely found my method to using them, I can't see myself taking so much time to apply them on my clients. I have to agree with several of you who have said this collection would have been worth it if they had been paint pots.

MAC is pretty expensive, but so well worth it in my opinion. I can never finish anything in six months because I have SO MUCH make-up to use.

That is what a make-up addict has to deal with constantly as you ladies know. I'm still resisting buying anything from this collection, FF and Surf Baby.
Let's see if I can keep it up.

I'll never use one up in 6 months..... and I HATE throwing away makeup, especially MAC

same here....
i just found that my illamasqua illuminator totally separated...i usually take the 6 month rule with a grain of salt, but it seems with these liquidy pigmented products it's pretty real. i tried to remix the illuminator, and ended up having to be super careful not to end up with blotchy stains on my face! so sad.... :(

aw that sucks! yeah sometimes i ignore the use by date on cosmetics - but if the thing seperates and goes weird then you can't ignore it really!

hhmm I might go begging for some samples of the two deeper purpley colours and play with them at home to see whether I can blend them and whether they last. Unless I'm allowed a sample of 2 I think its a no go.

Saw these at my MAC counter but didn't have time to try them out. They look liquidy, but not as much as I was expecting (from people talking about how they'd slosh out if someone jostled the display- it's not that bad). The colors are even more bright and vivid than in the pictures... I'm definitely going to have to try them out, do a wear test, etc, but I probably will end up getting one or two. Count Your Assets is just too pretty to pass up!

glad to see the reviews weren't all true! I hope I can get it to work for me too- the colors are just too pretty to pass up. As long as it isn't too annoying to apply and doesn't crease quickly, I'm definitely going to get a couple... and I'd love to see a picture!

I'm going to wait to see these things in person. I want to feel them, first. Not sure on the mascara. I just don't think there will be enough color payoff to justify(talking about the green on specifically).

I'm still tempted by the BB shadows. I put a couple mascaras in my cart, then i closed the window, lol!
