I do not want to buy any of the big bounce shadows b/c of the aweful reviews, but I do want to replicate the smokey green eye look on Temptalia. Do you think that the big bounce eyeshadow is needed as a base for this look? Is there something else (a higher quality product) that anyone can suggest to use instead?

I was going to skip the Big Bounce eyeshadow because of all the bad reviews. I saw them today and I purchased three of them. I have been wearing Free as air for about 4 hours with no creasing. I am not wearing it as an eyeshadow base, there is no eyeshadow on top of it. I was able to get a very nice opaque application the first time with no problems. This is a very beautiful eyeshadow and wearing it as an eyeshadow base does it no justice. I applied Too Faced shadow insurance then Ben Nye Cosmic blue cream eyeshadow and on top of that I applied Free As Air and it's beautiful. I love this product and I plan to purchase all of them. I can take a picture of it on my eye if anyone wants to see it.

I wouldn't shell out the money for these. There are many other cream shadows out there that are better and cheaper even.. SOO NOT WORTH THE MONEY! As a mac addict I have to reason with myself, hard earned money need not be spent on garbage overpriced products even if they say "MAC" on the container

There is a purple mascara. Green, blue purple and gray are the shades. They are all pretty neat. What I like about them is you can wear them alone for a bright POP of color or layer them over black for a more subtle effect. I'm glad they used zoom as the base formula as opposed to opulash. The opulash brush is just too large.

So after playing with the big bounce shadows a little more I've found that there not as horrible as all of the reviews are making them out to be. The key is to use fast response eye cream or prep n prime eye as the base. PAINT POTS WILL NOT WORK!!! The color just smears all over the lid and the shadow will not set properly.I also have found that using the tip of a 224 or 217 brush is the best application method but you must keep your eye shut until it dries!! These take about 45 seconds to dry and if you open before then you will crease. I still dont like the consistancy but I do recommend asking for a sample if your curious about them. The colors in the collection are very pretty. However another downside is that they have a recommended life of only 6 months according to MAC.

I thought several of the colors looked so lovely. I'm definitely going to get a few shades. I don't have problems with es creasing so I am happy to read this. Thanks

So, I am going to try one or maybe 2. I need to see for myself. I don't have problems with creasing. I use Mac and Mufe paint pots alone and they never crease. I can't wait to see what happens.

Shontay, I am planning on applying them at the counter first, then go home and see if they have got any staying power. Since they have such bad reviews, I doubt they will last on my eye lids though. The whole texture seems to be so watery but I also have to see for myself.

If i have the time for that, I'm gonna try them too.. but only because I saw Temptalias new swatches and the colors are soooooo pretty. I saw the colors and was thinking if they were Paint Pots, I would've gotten all of them. No more food for one month, but the prettiest Paint Pots :D
If they only last 6 months, are they permanent? if not, what is the point? How are you all buying these early?
They are limited edition.
6 months is a super short shelf life!maybe they dry up quickly?
I'm thinking maybe they get runny. You ever have a cream product that sweats or gets all wet and then nasty? Ick. That's what I think. I don't really see this drying up, just breaking apart and turning greasy. I don't think I can finish it in 6 months, but I still want to try one. If I don't like it, it'll be returned and I won't have to worry about the 6 months.
