MAC - Surf Baby Discussion

It could be. I just got excited because I saw I had a new email but it wasn't from MAC *sigh*
Maybe later.
I want it to be delivered before I go into town tomorrow.

I've just phoned Customer Services to ask about my orders, and was told that everything is in stock and has been processed and packed and is sitting in the warehouse. She couldn't understand why it hadn't been dispatched when the order I placed the next day has been dispatched and received. Hopefully I should receive a dispatch email tonight *fingers crossed*

I was told that if things don't arrive within the usual 2-5 days, they can refund postage, but mine were free postage anyway. Worth knowing, though, for those of you who have paid for delivery.

Hmm that is strange. Hopefully we will all get our dispatch emails soon then. Maybe it will give them the kick up the backside so go and check what is going on and put the parcels on a van.

Rockin and Wish, it's really weird they haven't dispatched those orders... I haven't ordered sun blonde, bust out or any pigments - so I wonder if it's something to do with one of those?

Really nice palette, with pink, coral, taupe, brown check out on the sephora site. It supposed to be released in May.

oh brilliant - makes me feel happier that you have spoken to them. bloody backwards way of doing the orders though!!

Every time I get an email I get all hopeful that it is a MAC dispatch email but it isn't. I might ring them at lunchtime or when I get home if I don't receive one today. Ideally I want my parcel to arrive today or tomorrow before I go out because if there is anything that is missing due to lack of stock (this has happened before to me) or any wrong items (again this has happened) I can go out and buy the out of stock items or check out the wrong items to see if I want to keep them or not and then get the correct one. That happened when I ordered Sur blush from Mickey C and they sent me the highlighting one by mistake but I went to the store and liked the highlighting one too and bought Sur while I was there.

I just got my order and Whoa is Hibiscus bright, scary neon red bright. I swatched it side by side by Cyndi and they are absolutely nothing alike, I'm not sure where those comparisons came from as Cyndi is a pinkish colour and Hinsicus is an orange red.

Only complaint I have with this is its a really unflattering colour if you don't have bleached teeth (I don't) as it's def showing tones on my teeth that a don't normally have

I placed my surf baby order yesterday morning & its still 'in warehouse'. Must other online retailers would have shipped it, or processed it, by now.

Just to add though that I did place my order as soon as the collection went up via the search function and it still took til yesterday to dispatch it so it was two days, which in fairness is average for mac as I find most of my orders dispatch within 2 or 3 days and I get them the day after my dispatch notice - I think the only way I've ever gotten an order quicker is when I've paid for next day delivery. Maybe MAC are actually staggering orders so that next day is a priority service as previously standard orders were arriving the next day anyway which I'm sure people would have been peeved at and maybe complained to MAC about?

My first order was placed as soon as the products appeared in the search, too, yet it still hasn't left them. Around midday today it changed from In Warehouse to Dispatched, which means it's ready to be collected from them by the courier tonight. The smaller, 2nd order I placed that day was at about 5pm, and is still showing as In Warehouse.

Maybe MAC are actually staggering orders so that next day is a priority service as previously standard orders were arriving the next day anyway which I'm sure people would have been peeved at and maybe complained to MAC about?

yeah that is a good point! and it has worked! i shall be paying extra next time!

[/quote] To be honest I always do with things I'm excited about as then if it fails to turn up you have something to complain to mac with, whereas with standard their time is 2-5 days anyway or something! I would have ordered next day with this collection if My Paradise had of showed itself a bit quicker lol!

This is going to sound so silly but last night I asked my boyfriend to send some vibes for my tomato seedlings as they were looking close to death by drought and this morning they are much better. At lunchtime I asked for vibes for my MAC dispatch and behold... my order says dispatch!

He is magic I tell ya!

I also ordered as soon as they were up on the website through the search function. It would be nice if it arrives later today... fingers crossed!

Don't feel guilty, they were probably waiting for something to come into the warehouse that you hadn't ordered or something. Even if they weren't, it doesn't matter as long as they arrive and they send the next day or whatever orders on time.
