Could someone maybe do comparison swatches of My Paradise and Springsheen? I just swatch a swatch of My Paradise and it looked like Springsheen with the overspray.

Yeah he was totally appalled and so was I - they usually get the most stock of all the local MAC stores, since their volume is so large.

When you don't even get enough to have a tester for it, you know something's messed up.

i'm wearing surf usa today - soooo pigmented and for a frost it does not seem frosty to me :) i'm wearing it with going bananas and nylon shadow - they all make a great threesome!

my two cents:

hibiscus, i'm so disapointed in you, you promised more than you actually deliver, you're still nice though! its a nice coral, red ish coral, not as light as i thought, and not as sheer as i thought, the sheen seen in photos of it in the swatch thread isnt really there

the white liner, i bought this for my water line, and it doesnt show up at all, i even tried warming it up with a lighter, then using it, and it just made me look like i had eye gunk, it is however beautiful used on your inner corner as a highlight and below your brow, and i used it as a base yesterday, and the shadows stuck to it well and it looked nice

my paradise, its nice, not as in your face when applied as marine life and its a lot more orange, i dont think its a must have, more of a nice to have, i was going to return it, but it turned up with a flower pattern smudged so it looked like i had used it when i hadnt

surf usa, the hidden gem, i put in a second order for this,(cos i didnt order it the first time) so glad i did, its my fav item, my only must have, its got the intensity of colour of electric eel with the greeness of that green that came out in dare to wear, but not as strong, its like a mix of the two but with sheen, its not like parrot, or any other turquoises i have, i love it, i wore it with going bananas and lucky green and it was gorgeous, i can post swatches later today, but lou's swatch is pretty accurate, and the ones comparing it to newly minted etc are quite accurate too

Yeah I noticed this too. They must have done these ages ago and then decided to axe them. It would be interesting to know why they didn't release them but the bronzer sticks are fine.

I'm sure if you phone up and say it arrived smudged, then you can return it just fine.

I am SO late to this thread but it's positively thrilling to see you UK and non-US lovelies are enjoying your Surf Baby items!
It only makes me more excited for this collection--truly hoping that I get my paws on everything!

Here's my list:
Swell Baby
Saffron
Good Lovin l/g
Hibiscus l/s
Both pigment stacks! (I have the ones from SCF and LOVE them)
My Paradise cheek powder (I have high hopes that I'll even GET it)

I might try out one of the Careblend bronzers! I'm an oily chica so I'm thinking a creme bronzer might not be the best idea.

This collection is the first to truly enthrall me in a very long time.

Karen on Make Up Beauty Blog said that the Saffron from this collection is different than the one from Mickey Contractor. It's supposedly hard and sheer. :(

I might have to swatch this in store instead of purchasing online...

I agree!! My saffron from Surf Baby must be wet to work
