Very pretty afulton!

I got my 2 shadows. I love and adore Sun Blonde. I tried it with Mekong (NARS) and that was quite the winner. (I suspect it would look good with Night Clubbing as well for an evening look but I haven't tried that yet.) Oddly enough it also looked good by itself and Undercurrent as a liner. I didn't think it would work but it was a fun look.

Saffron is so pretty. It did lack pigmentation but I loved the color. Then it caused my eye to turn blood red and itch, so clearly Saffron and I were not meant to be. So sad. I tried to convince my husband it wasn't that bad, but this morning when he had packaged it up and said he was mailing it so I wouldn't use it, I figured it must have been worse than I thought!

Anyway, my KK is on the truck for delivery today so I shall report back on that. I'm excited for it though!

OH no! So sorry Saffron did that. SOY from Peacocky did that to me. I wonder whats in the shadows that causes irritation.

I love Hibiscus. I am going to have to snag another. My natural lip color pulls a hint of pink out of it, So pretty.
I totally see Sun Blond acting as a duochrome with black. As soon as I swatched it on my brown hands, the green popped out. Its a great color!
I fell in love with Mocha and plan on B2M for it in regular packaging. I thinks its a great neutral lip for me.

So glad I went right after work yesterday (which is 10am ). I went today since they had everything in boxes yesterday and just grabbed the two things I REALLY wanted -- Lush Light Bronzer and Surf the Ocean. I went back today to play with everything else and the girl looked at me like I was CRAZY when I said I got the pigments. She said she didn't even know they got any in and that they were now on back order LOL.

I didn't want anything else from the collection, though.

It is amazing.
I think it would look so pretty paired with Sumptuous Olive or Greensmoke as a smokey eye.

Today I was playing around with the colors from Surf Baby. This is the look I came up with.

Also, I've been a bad bad girl.
I went with my mom to our Dillard's counter since she wanted to get My Paradise and she ended up buying us... Surf the Ocean stack!
I think it's so much more beautiful than Summer Stash and I am (usually) a neutral girl.
I also got... Saffron and Swell Baby.

The problem with Saffron yesterday was that I didn't swatch over a base/primer.
Later while we were walking it hit me that this morning I mixed on the back of my hand my foundation and moisturizer and that's why it swatched better today lol
I also swatched Brown Script (was originally going to buy THAT) next to it and will take a picture in a bit, along with Swell Baby and my pigment stack.
I am officially done with Surf Baby.

I just exchanged Surf the Ocean. She opened a few boxes to see what they look like. All had varying amounts of the Seafoam shade. The one I exchanged seemed more low than the others.
We found one where the Seafoam shade was a lot more full.I realize it is sold by weight not volume but the first one I got was really low. The dark shade and silver shade were full to the top and densely packed. Still the gold globs in all of them. However mine had a strange oil type smell (kind of like melted old crayons) the new
one had a smell but not as strong. She advised me to poke the gold glob up with a plastic stick. She tried to do this with the one I exchanged and it was hard and stiff.
I really like the colors so I will sacrfice this strange glob thing. Hah my first pigment stack did the others released previously have this issue too?

I compared Bough Grey and Swell Baby in person at the store and we both agreed same color, just repackaged with a new name. Swatched them they look exactly alike.

I just did a look using Sun Blonde on the lid, Saffron in the crease, and Surf USA on the bottom lash line. Sun Blonde really DOES have a cool greenish cast that you can see when you turn your head from side to side. I'll post pics after I have something to eat.

I did Swell Baby on my lid and Darkhorse(UD) on the outer eye with a little Surf USA in the outer cease to lighten it up. I love it! I'm really loving Swell Baby it was different from all the grey tone shadows I had. I put on a hot pink lip for fun too.

While my gold pigment was globbed up it wasn't hard nor did it smell funny. I've been hearing that most people that have gotten the Surf the Ocean stack has gotten a ball of gold pigment.

I was just searching for this! Mine is barely filled, less than a third, its solid and looks like it was "melted".. I messaged my friend who works at MAC and asked her if this was normal.. I'm not going to touch it until i hear back from her.. But.. that was before i got on here.. I knew i should have looked on here first.. I suppose this is normal..

The shadows are all amazing in person. IMHO Sun Blonde and Surf USA are very unique colors. If you are interested in Surf USA go see it in person. I almost passed because Temptalia said Gulf Stream was close and in photos it looks that way. In person, this is a completely different color. I don't think it photographs as unique/beautiful as it is in person.
I love Surf the Ocean. The pigments have such a creamy feel to them and I have no other colors like them.

I am done with SB but very happy with my small haul.

As I was leaving I heard from my favorite Chanel MUA that they will get the Byzantine collection so MAC and I are going on a break now.

My gold color is less than 1/3 full, its solid! Not full or chunky like the other 3.. I sent a text to my MA friend and asked her what the deal is.. Waiting on an answer.

I went to Macy's today to exchange make up for my mom with her, and they had "Hibiscus" lipstick, so I got it!

I have another one I ordered before I thought it would be in stock at the store, so I have one coming from Nordstroms online.
Still deciding whether to return it or not. Not sure if I really need 2 of this color. I have so many lipsticks ...

I also have "Swell Baby" E/S coming from mac online.

I went to the store to check out Saffron and I ended up bringing it with me! The MUA had this beautiful smokey eye with saffron and folie and I was like "I MUST HAVE THIS!"

My box was waiting for me when I got home yesterday evening and I love everything! Only problem is, while I love hibiscus I don't love it on me. I think it looks horrid. I think I'll probably try it again after blanking out my lips with concealer or something but unless it's a big change I won't be keeping it. What a bummer. Corals are so hit or miss for me. I love Strange Potion though, which I missed out on with VV.

Gilded white is holding nicely in my waterline so far. I really like the subtle color and the sheen that it has. Saffron and Surf USA I love, and I'm debating whether or not to depot them since I like the packaging. Saffron seems to have good but not uber pigmentation, if it is a slightly different formulation from the MC version that I was never able to get that only strengthens my resolve to someday get my hands on it. I'd like to think that some stuff from MC will end up in the CCOs soon but I think that may just be a pipe dream.

The crushed pigments sort of remind me of solar bits, which are also a bit chunky and in little balls (hee!). Not to mention they're both really nice to apply.

Swatching Surf USA was a dream!! So pigmented! I am really glad that I got it! Also Hibiscus and Bust Out are so gorgeous when I swatched them as well as My Paradise Blush! Now I see that Sun Blonde is back in stock and I'm so tempted to snatch it up but I'm unsure lol

i got my macy's order, and thanks to my in ability to operate before 8 AM and my id taking over at that point (545AM) i found a hibiscus in my order, lol!
I like it okay. it's pulling really orange on me, so i'll have to play with it. using Elegant's patented dab and smoosh method, however, makes it really soft and purtiful.

Saffron with no primer pulls oddly dark coral on me, with a primer it's more orange/brick reddish. Sun Blonde is cool. without a primer it's just a wash of yellow, but with it it has a sheen and the subtle green that everyone has mentioned before. I like it. hee! (I tried this on UDPP, btw. I have so much of it to use up!).

i didn't go to the counter like i wanted to. I got side tracked by ice cream sandwiches, which always take priority, lol, so i didn't get to look at the stacks and other shadows. maybe tomorrow.

still no word on my backorder, but i'll get Bust Out Tuesday, and just might slip a surf USA in a cart somewhere since i got a surprise cash back deposit.
