^^^ The staying power for the gloss is very good - at least for me. Its a new reformulation I guess. The color is just gorgeous on.

I finally received my things today! I called and found out it was delivered to someone else's house, about 6 hours away from me. So much for express shipping...but I'm so thankful It even made it to me!
However, the gold part of my metallic pigments do not look normal compared to the other swatches I've seen. Mine looks almost liquid like. What do you guys think?
Please, do not pay any attention to my nails. They need to be done majorly

I am soo glad I went to my local MAC counter and saw and swatched Hibiscus with my own eyes!! Now, I can stop wondering if I should have gotten it or not. Turns out, Hibiscus was too orange of a coral for me!! I do have Bust Out! ls coming to me, hopefully it's not too purple...I thought it was suppposed to be on the sheer side?

You know what looks great?
Krazy Kahuna over Heroine, from WW.
Balances the coolness of Heroine with the warmth of KK, covers up some of the metallic finish of Heroine without making it disappear completely and gets rid of the orange cast in KK too, if you're looking for that (I like the orangey aspect of KK and still need to try it over Temperature Rising, but it's nice to have an option to cancel it out also).

Thanks, girls!! I knew it didn't look right. The rest of the colors are fine, except the gold.WOW Vanilla...it looks like your gold pigment was in the heat for too long or something. I smushed mine with a brush and it has an almost creamy texture, but nothing like that.

The gold colour in my pigment stack doesn't look that liquidy but it does have a look of being damp and clumpy.

I'm now thinking about getting a backup of Surf USA. I have not backed up anything in awhile and I just swatched it with both NYX JEP in Milk and MAC Pure White Chromaline. What I have to say is that with MAC Pure White Chromaline, it shows up more vibrant than Milk.

Greenstroke Paint pot or Delft Paint Pot really pull the blue/green tones out beautifully

I think my eyes are irritated from my pigment stacks. Everytime I use them, my eyes get itchy. Has anyone else had this problem?

I've only used them once but when I was removing my eye makeup it kind of burned around my eyes. I don't know if it's from the pigments or not but it's never happened before. Other then that they were fine.

can someone tell me what are the dimensions of a normal mac box? like if we were to order from the website. what is the dimensions? is it a standard? and do you know approximately how much it weighs??? like if there were about 4 eyeshadows and 4 lipsticks?

I recently received a box that only had 3 lipsticks, and a line filler in it that was about 6inches high, 6inches wide, and about 8-9inches long? I don't think it weighed more than a pound.

I am not going to enable you and encourage to get another one but Surf USA is the bizness. My coworker was all over the color on me and was supposed to go try to find it at MAC this weekend, so you know it's hot when it causes mass hysteria.
After all the hype, I am very happy with the 4 things I got from the collection. I really want My Paradise but I don't want to deal with the gold overlay, getting rid of it or scraping it off just seems like the effort I don't want to put in, as minor as it is.
And speaking of Bust Out, mine isn't sheer at all. It feels like a cremesheen, although I had to do two swipes, it wasn't as lustrey as my other ones, there wasn't much shine and glideability.
