MAC - Surf Baby Discussion

I received My Paradise yesterday... It is SO pretty! I really am reluctant to actually use it! But i'm determined to not get a back-up, so I guess I'll have to deal with it!

The gold actually last quite a bit, so you will still be able to enjoy the design for a while.

Decided to work a monochromatic blue look today






I used Surf USA on the lid and blended it up into my crease with Turquatic e/s, Used a dab of the aqua crushed metal pigment to the center of the lid. MP on the cheeks with the care blend bronzer. Lower lash line is the Blue Noon pencil, water line is a Chromagraphic Pencil is Hi Def Cyan ( LOVE THESE!!) and Liquid Last liner in Blue Horizon. Lips are Creme La Femme.

I wouldn't dare wearing blue like dat lol. Somehow its hard enough to wear blue in lower lash line, or just a liner on top (thin) with blue mascara.

Maybe if i move to the city.... but i dont think id get approval of em cowboys around here lol

guys using surf usa shadow on your lids with contrast in the crease is bloody stunning!!!

Hey girls...

I haven't told you about my order mess... Agh... I ordered one pencil (white), saffron and surf the ocean pigments... when I opened the box I noticed golden pigment all over the box and went directly to check the surf the ocean stack... I was surprised to see the lid broken, but it was way worse once I opened it... It was filled with some kind of oil, and the golden pigment wasn't powder anymore... it was just a smelly thick paste... just gross...

Obviously I took a lot of pictures and emailed mac about this... They told me they will reship it, hopefully it will be a good one.

I'll put a photo to show you... you can't see the oil because when I opened it a lot of it went down my hands and clothes

The smell was horrible...

I haven't told you about my order mess... Agh... Oh boy, how I wish I could have gotten Hibiscus and My Paradise, bah!

I suppose on the bright side though, I got Ripe Peach last year, which many people didn't, lol. I don't quite feel like it makes up for it though!

I'm dying to get Ever Hip from FF, so hopefully it'll work out. I have timings and money all set aside so I can snag it immediately. As soon as the 1st of July hits, even though it's not due out 'til the 7th, I'll be stalking the MAC website like you have no idea. -_-

As for Surf Baby.. I'm loving my shadows. I didn't get Saffron but I am still kinda considering purchasing it when I purchase EH, if it's still on the website at that time - it's still up atm and still in stock so we'll see!
