But then, I've just dropped about $600 on Sephora F&F stuff and my Debenhams order. But those were mainly the items I've waited to get for the whole year.
This collection needs to just go away. I can't stop buying things from it. I've spent $500 easily on just THIS collection.
In other news.. I picked up a Dazzelglass last night since I had to grab a another 15 palette. The store I went to had all of the paint pots.. actually everything but the purple np and one dazzleglass.. oh and whirls and twirls.

Hey everyone! Im new here :)

I bought the mineralized brush set yesterday and washed them when I got home with baby shampoo. After they dried, I noticed that the white bristles where green on all four mineralized brushes. I washed them a second time and they are still green. They look so ugly now! :(

Does anyone know if there is any way to fix this?

I tried it over Nars Smudgeproof base and TFSI, and the glitter still migrated with both of them. I think a lot of it happens when I am blending the lid and crease colors......
But it is OK, I will survive. I have another 15 PP in my drawer that are all vying for attention anyway :)

BTW, Thanks to everyone who enabled me when I asked about Fresh Ice! It is sooooo buttery and glowy! I love it!

Aww thanks all :) I felt proud because I'm still learning how to blend eyeshadows and I think this week I've hit a breakthrough! The blending is starting to work in my favor! Whoopiee!

My back-up prayers have been answered! The U.S. MAC site restocked Whirls & Twirls so I jumped on it, just in time for payday

Let's Skate is also available again, too for those that want to snag it!

I now have back-up city with W&T and all three paint pots from this collection. I was in need of some shimmery neutrals and these were just right for me, so I knew I would use them up in no time. Whirls & Twirls is my favorite lipstick to wear at work. It's like a lipgloss in lipstick form, it adds just the right amount of dazzle to my lips when I want to have a more bold eye color! I'm so relieved I was able to get extras.

Sephora F&F is trouble! I convinced myself I needed a Clarisonic. I've wanted one for months and could never justify the cost, but finding one that was leopard print during the F&F sale made me jump on it immediately! With that plus the MAC collections, my wallet is definitely a raisin, lol.

I found another thread on Specktra that might answer your question: http://www.specktra.net/t/115383/my-white-hair-mac-brushes-turn-green-and-stay-green-after-cleaning It looks like another user said that while they are green, it won't affect the use of the brushes.

And this is kind of a plug, but having an artist background (specifically drawing/painting) I highly recommend this cleaner: http://www.dickblick.com/products/the-masters-brush-cleaner-and-preserver/ I took a chance and decided to use it on my make-up brushes and it works super well. It gives them a nice deep clean and does its job to preserve the brush. It's cheap and is available at craft/art supplies stores :) The jar lasts a long time, too!

It's not that hard to spend $500 on this collection. That's around £300 and I have easily spent that much too. Mac is getting more and more expensive. :(

Yep, it's definitely easy to spend a few hundred dollars on this collection. If you got all 3 paint pots, a beauty powder, and an MES that puts you at $100 already!

I ended up with 2 paint pots (Morning Frost and Let's Skate), 2 MES (Fresh Ice and Snow Season), and Snowglobe from this collex and I am super happy with the items I picked. I even have a backup each of Snowglobe and Let's Skate on the way to me and was thinking about backing up my MES. But I figure there will be lots more MES and other lovelies to come so instead of getting more of the same I will save to get new things later!

Snowglobe was the sleeper hit for me, I didn't understand it at first but after talking with a really lovely MA and her showing me Snowglobe with a blush on my cheeks I was sold.

I'm sad that Whrils & Twirls is sold out online. That was the lipstick that I really wanted to get.

EDIT: Never mind. Just saw it on MAC's website and ordered it.

Yeah, I kinda wish I was kidding! One thing to up the cost is that I bought all three brush sets. The only brush that I'm not liking in mini form is the 226se... Really scratchy and it has a weird pointed tip. Everything else is soft and working well for me now.

I wouldn't have allowed myself to spend $500 in one shot.. It was a $200 order, then $100 here, $100 there... Oh and maybe some $50 trips while I'm at Mac FS (might as well right?)

I didn't go nuts with sephora F&F and it's my birthday soon... So that's how I justified my wants :) oh I forgot to add my recent CCO items too. I'm glad that The couture collection is a skip for me!

and ps, I am so kicking myself for not getting any semi precious MES.. I skipped them because of T's reviews. Turns out I def don't share the same view on MES as her. Now I am severely lacking in that department.

Does anyone think frozen blue MES is more gray? I skipped it because I have a hard time pulling off blue shadows but I'm wondering if I should take another look at it.

I passed on all the MES as I just don't want to mess with them, no matter how beautiful they look in the pots. Snowglobe was a bit of a bummer for me, I was hoping for more vavoom from it.
Its a bit boring and lackluster. I understand the concept is subtle but its a little too subtle ya know.
