THey do look beautiful together!

Just compared winterized to chanels illusoire in the shops and here's my thinking on them....they in the same colour family but illusoire is slightly more taupe and winterized is slightly cooler toned. They are also completely different textures. They look amazing layered on top of one another and I think they also look lovely used side by side in a look or maybe illusoire all over lid and winterized in the crease. When I used illusoire as a base and foiled winterized over it really brought out the purple in the shadow. It looked really vivid- almost like a smokey royal purple. Bottom line is I thought I would skip Chanel cause I bought mac but I was wrong! The purple freak in me know needs both in my life...hope my rambling helps...

I used Snow Season for the first time tonight and I must say that I'm in love with it. Did a simple look using SS all over the lid, UD's Toasted on the crease and winged liner. I use Pixie Epoxy under my MES and it makes them more vivid and with less fall out.

I've been giving Morning Frost a LOT of love lately and now I'm kinda regretting backing up Let's Skate instead of MF. I don't think I have my slip to exchange so perhaps a new MF will find its way home to keep my extra LS company

I had to back up my Morning Frost! I have never reached for ANY paint pot more days in a row than this one, so I knew it was backup worthy! At first I kept thinking it was dupeable, and in reality it might be, but I think it is such a perfect balance of cool and warm with just the right amount of shimmer, it is super creamy, and lasts longer than I ever thought a paint pot could......so even if it IS dupeable, why continue the search for a new product when the one I just found is sheer perfection!?!?!!! I love it

So I finally washed my mineralze brushes, and they also turned green. You can see the dye coming off as you wash them. These are definitely going back.

I've been doing it alone, with a black eyeliner, with Fresh Ice and Snow Season, and with other taupes/browns/neutrals. I've been meaning to try it with brighter colors but I haven't been able to
yet because it's been a crazy few weeks! I almost think I like it best alone—I've nearly quit doing naked eyes and am wearing MF on my lids with a little mascara as my minimal makeup look.
