Famously Fab seemed the closest to Narcissus to me but I held off on it - the Cremesheen Glasses are just all around so much nicer than the regular lipglass, that even though FF is a touch sillier and cuter, I'd still opted for Narcissus.
In fact, the only gloss I picked up was Comfort & Joy, because it had that great greyish tone that always looks good on me. I still haven't opened it up yet, though. I'd like to get through Vacant from GP a little more first and then move on to C&J (even though it's certainly not a true dupe).
Now, the LIP PENCILS, on the other hand......why are people not raving like maniacs about them??? They are all simply gorgeous, long lasting, not too drying to use over the whole lip and so many great, useful colors.
Just Wonderful is simply a must for all those purple and mauve lipsticks and glosses MAC's been churning out - it won't add redness to what you put on top of it and it looks soft and natural on the lips on its own or when your gloss or lipstick starts wearing out. I have red lips and it doesn't react to them - it stays very true to color. 100% meant for Narcissus too!
My other must have is Just My Type, since it's great for adding definition to black and cool vampy colors like Cyber, without adding any red. If you go for those sorts of colors it's pretty much an HG pencil, so much better than any dark red and safer and less harsh colorwise than using a black eye pencil.
Lasting Sensation is less orange than my beloved Temperature Rising, but just as bright - will be great with Party Parrot if you don't want to add more red or orange to it. Entertain Me is more true orange than Lasting Sensation - I thought I bought it yesterday, since I already loved Lasting Sensation and figured I could mix the two to get a match for Temperature Rising, but lo and behold, my MA forgot to include it. It might actually be closer to Temperature Rising overall and will be great for future crazy oranges that will be out in the summer, for sure! I also got Embrace Me, which is more neon than All Styled Up and Hip 'n Happy, which is bluer, softer and less milky than In Synch. Seriously, all these particular shades are fantastic. I'm usually pretty conservative about how many lip pencils I own, but seriously all these colors are particularly gorgeous and don't fight with your natural lip color or what you're putting on top, like other previous MAC l/ps. The pro longwear l/ps are really long lasting, but these are not much less serviceable, with some really perfect colors that are way more useful than the PL ones and a MUCH better value - much more product for less $. I went to town on 'em and am sure they're going to get worn down to nubs.
