Whoops! I forgot all about Local Wares 'til I saw AudreyC's post. I thought maybe it didn't come but it was hidden in the corner of the box. Side by side, Local Wares and Avenue are indistinguishable from one another. Looking through the sides of the glass jar, Local Wares does look more olive compared to Avenue but on the skin they look the same. I'm happy about this because I slipped once and got a bunch on my hand so my Avenue is not as smooth and neat as my other fluidlines and it looks like a lot is gone. It is my most used fluidline and I was so sorry that I hadn't backed it up.
So it isn't more green? I was hoping it was, but to tell the truth I will be happy with a BU for Avenue. I may have to BU the BU

Left to right, flash, no flash, natural light: On the Hunt, Marche Aux Puces, Whims and Fancies

Top: Eclectic Edge l/g, left Camden Chic, right Fashion Nomad, bottom Restless Flash and no Flash

Supercontinental, Hidden Treasure, Worldly Wealth

First Impressions from Swatches:
I don't think the pics really show off the shimmer in the On the Hunt duo. This is my first time buying a duo and I don't like that the individual colors aren't listed. I know I won't be able to remember them. I really like Performance Art - a color right up my alley. I like that some of these duos are paired with mattes as I rarely wear mattes and would like to add some to my repertoire. I like that the colors in these duos pair well together. In many of the duos I've seen in the past, I would not wear the two colors together but these I would.

Wow! Hidden Treasure is super pigmented. I used a cotton ball to swatch the blushes. Worldly Wealth doesn't look like much on my hand but it is really pretty. I'm not worried it won't show up on my face because it is no lighter than Get Away Bronze and that shows up fine on me. I think blushes are hard to swatch anyway. Now I really don't like the Supercontinental swatch. It looks too light and chalky. But I haven't worn this on my face yet. Many of the Tres Cheeks colors looked terrible swatched on my hand but looked pretty good on my cheeks. Plus, it doesn't look that light in the pan as it does on my hand. Odd. Style Seeker nail polish looks really red to me. I don't know where this orange is coming from. It looks so orange in pics. It doesn't look duochrome in the bottle but maybe the lighting makes a difference. Maybe it really is duochrome - red in some lights and orange in others. I guess only trying it on the nail is the way to know for sure. Maybe later.

Well, these are just my first impressions from swatching. I'd rather try everything on and tell you what I think. But I know that would take some time. I figure some people may be ready to pull the trigger and some info is better than nothing. I'll take my time trying everything on and report back later. HTH!
Does your Hidden Treasure say it's a Velvet finish? Does anyone here who has Hidden Treasure says it's a Velvet finish on your packaging? Or is it just the bloggers samples that are called Velvet?

ETA: Nevermind. Looks like they're indeed calling it a velvet.

Sorry for the poor quality shot. In natural light (through a window), no flash.

Approaching Storm, Camden Chic, Retro

IRL Retro doesn't look come as close to Approaching Storm as it appears to. Camden Chic is deeper than Retro and Approaching Storm is deeper than both.

Thank you for posting pictures! I assumed that Avenue would have chunkier glitter particles and that seems to be so... I love them both! I can't wait to get LW :)

I clicked on the link and was thinking "Wow! What great pics and swatches. I need to bookmark this blog." Until I realized they were Temptalia's pics. Now I get it about the "borrowed" pics.

Me too. From all the posts about it, I want to see if it makes the csg last longer and make the lipsticks that go on all skippety skip more smooth.
I have Eden Rouge and it is gorgeous, the perfect matte red. It leans slightly warm for me. Camden chic looks way more brick/brown red. They are so different, I think both are justified.
Would you say it is warm toned? I am wondering if it looks darker or lighter than Retro? And hopefully like a warmer version of Approaching Storm, one of my favorite lippies ever.
I couldn't agree more! I hope Prep + Prime Lip will make my Partial to Pink CSG last longer on my lips.

I hope Dark Diversion will look nice on me. I'll get it Monday.

I saw the Retrospeck from the duo and the original Retrospeck on Christine's site, and I have to say I'm not all that surprised they would make a mistake like that. They've repromoted shades for various other products that were different from the original before, like Runaway Red.

Looks like this blogger has stolen content from quite a few bloggers! I recognized a post from Jen at FromHeadToToe. I'm in rage mode right now. Time to let people know...

Eden Rouge looks great on Christine, I might buy that one.. And I think I'm going to skip Local Wares, it looks (almost) identical to Avenue?
