I picked up Eden Rouge and Fashion Nomad tonight. Um, I'm not sure about either shade. Eden Rouge looks to have more orange on me than blue. It's nice but not what I was expecting. Fashion Nomad wears just like Neon Orange on me. I thought it would be more orange red.

So I checked it out and the brown in MAP, is not like saddle at all, but a little like brown down. I have about 4 golds, and I'm sure I can dupe the gold, even the MAC convinced me to pass on it. I am kinda tempted to get it.

I bought
worldly wealth
hidden treasure

local wares

ecletic edge this is the best orange ever!!! Hands down it is better than A rivera life, caqui and any other orange. It kinda reminds me of what kumquat looked like on me, and like an idiot, I gave it away.
Ready to Roam is also awesome. I like this better than any other red lip gloss out there too. They both seem a lil more toned down, which for me is perfect.
I agree they are very very smooth.

On the Hunt. the shades remind of of expensive pink. The tester swatched kinda patchy, but I bought it b/c of the look the MA did. So we'll see. I'm still tempted to get MAP. I have a gold from Naked, Kat Von D, and Hey Sailor. I don't need to spend $28 for one almost unique color. (c'mon antienablers, I need you!!!!)

Speaking of Kumquat, I had to google spring color forecast to remember the name of the gloss. I wish they'd bring those palettes back. I had just gotten into MAC, and got the purple one. I ignored everything else b/c I was not into eyeshadow, but now I want the golden amber one, pink shades, and pink burst l/s. LOL Ah well

So back to MAP, do I need it? I was looking at my stash and realized I had a rainbow of neutrals with a few pops of color.

I ignored the Mattenes, the reds didn't look that good on me the last time they were realized and the finish/colors looked like old lady lipstick on me.

NARS Luster is on my to get list. I need that one, Outlaw, Amour and Albatross. For whatever reason, I like to buy my NARS blush in batches.
I got Outlaw today... OMG it is gorgeous!!! I think I need to giveaway my HC stuff, got a break out instantly from COTU today. :( that's so pretty on me. ~sniff... anyway, Outlaw reminded me of star wonder, so if I have to get rid of it, I might have a dupe. (Please remind me next year to leave mineralized products alone)

You said it was the best orange ever. You've made me very curious to see it now. I don't know if I have any orange glosses.
Even the MA was impressed. I would not have bought it if I hadn't tried it on. I just might have to back it up. It isn't in your face and is more toned down. I know MA have to make sales, but she steered me away from MAP, and the other gloss, which did nothing for me.

I can't wait to see what you think. I'd post a picture, but I am soo lazy/tired right now. I have to be up early, and still need to cook for lunch tomorrow.

I'm just now realizing that MAC did it again in re-naming a product the same as a previous product but a different shade. Eclectic Edge lipglass was once a lipglass with the Colour Craft collection.

Tomorrow is fine. Get your work done and get some rest. We'll be here tomorrow. I'll try to check the gloss out this weekend.

Are you sure CotU caused the break out? Could it be something else? That would be a shame.

I thought Star Myth (I think that's the name) looked like Expensive Pink too in the pan, so I swatched them side by side. They are nothing alike; Star Myth is closer to Mythology but not as brownish.

As for MAP, I fell in love with Chessa. I love warm neutral shades; Arena is one of my very favourites and this is even better. Chessa isn't gold or I could have duped it too. It's orange but still neutral; I think it's my Jete but warm instead of cool. Indie Spirit is fine; I was planning on getting Swiss Chocolate (still might) so I'm happy to have a neutral medium brown. I don't know what your stash contains so you may very well have dupes; I only know that I didn't have anything like this colour. The MUA said that there's nothing like it in the line; can't speak to historical LE items or competitor brands.

I have All That Glitters, Gorgeous Gold, Patina, Sweet Heat, and a bunch of l'Oreal Infallible variants on gold/pewter/bronze. Nothing like this. Expensive Pink is well...pinker. Magnetic Attraction is pinker. l'Oreal Magnetic Coral is closest, but it's still not the same. This is a shimmery orange. I can't wait to try it with a deep green or purple as well as some deeper bronzy tones.

Oh yes - disenable. Right.

You probably don't even like orange. Or it will look garish on your skin. Or maybe it won't even look orange on you, but just fade into your sea of golds. Save your money, you know you need more eyeshadow like a fish needs a bicycle.

I also agree with Liba on Restless. It was dowdy on me, and I don't do brick reds at all. I didn't buy dark diversion, I keep buying and returning/giving it away with each launch. WOC, how do you feel about it?
