I find myself doing the same, I'm hoping to get Desire, a BU for Taj Mahal and Outlaw once I settle in on campus next week.
I've gorged on NARS lately; six full size blush and the Joie de Vivre palette. They're completely addictive! My new faves are Gaiety, Albatross and Dolce Vita. Can't wait for the winter collection to launch.

I forgot that you're based in DC. Good luck with the semester! I never once thought about getting BUs for my NARS blushes. I feel like they will last me forever.

I also agree with Liba on Restless. It was dowdy on me, and I don't do brick reds at all. I didn't buy dark diversion, I keep buying and returning/giving it away with each launch. WOC, how do you feel about it?
I love Dark Diversion. It's a nice burgundy color. Perfect for fall looks if you go by seasons, but I tend to wear it whenever I feel like. I think it works well with brown, gold, orange and pink eye shadow. It adds more interest to the eye than all black liner, and I think the color also compliments brown eyes. I think it's my most used Fluidline next to Dark Envy.

The MUA compared it to amber lights, and it was nothing like it, I agree it is more orange-y than gold, but on my hand it was pulling gold. You are right, typically I don't like orange on me, but yeah. You enabled me right back to the store. LOL
Was Indie Spirit similiar to Swiss Chocolate? We agreed it was a reddish brown. I'm not sure how I like those on me...
I didn't swatch it against Swiss Chocolate so I'm not sure, sorry.

I thought Star Myth (I think that's the name) looked like Expensive Pink too in the pan, so I swatched them side by side. They are nothing alike; Star Myth is closer to Mythology but not as brownish.

As for MAP, I fell in love with Chessa. I love warm neutral shades; Arena is one of my very favourites and this is even better. Chessa isn't gold or I could have duped it too. It's orange but still neutral; I think it's my Jete but warm instead of cool. Indie Spirit is fine; I was planning on getting Swiss Chocolate (still might) so I'm happy to have a neutral medium brown. I don't know what your stash contains so you may very well have dupes; I only know that I didn't have anything like this colour. The MUA said that there's nothing like it in the line; can't speak to historical LE items or competitor brands.

I have All That Glitters, Gorgeous Gold, Patina, Sweet Heat, and a bunch of l'Oreal Infallible variants on gold/pewter/bronze. Nothing like this. Expensive Pink is well...pinker. Magnetic Attraction is pinker. l'Oreal Magnetic Coral is closest, but it's still not the same. This is a shimmery orange. I can't wait to try it with a deep green or purple as well as some deeper bronzy tones.

Oh yes - disenable. Right.

You probably don't even like orange. Or it will look garish on your skin. Or maybe it won't even look orange on you, but just fade into your sea of golds. Save your money, you know you need more eyeshadow like a fish needs a bicycle.

I think you may have enabled me to revisit On the Hunt. I thought it was really pretty when I first swatched it at the launch party, but I had no interest in getting any of the duos. But it keeps nagging at me.

Yeah I'm driving back to DC on Saturday, which I'm really upset about my husband is stationed here in Pensacola on special orders so I won't see him until December so I'm super emotional right now, but I gotta go back and finish my last semester. Anyways I'm getting another Taj Mahal because the one I currently have is in storage and I can't get to it and I hit pan right in the middle but it has lasted a long time considering I wore it almost everyday for 3 months

I understand. Hopefully time will fly by for you since you'll be focusing on your studies and graduating.

I'm thinking about getting the Foreplay palette. I never got the previous palettes because they're either shades I wasn't interested in or I already have most of the colors in the palette. I don't have Orgasm (lol, trying to behave here) and wasn't really planning to get it. It seems like it would just appear as a highlighter on my skin. It appears different on me each time I swatch it and I think that may be because of the dusty testers. But I like the idea of being able to mix the shade. I guess technically I could mix the colors on my own with existing blush shades, but it's not the same as having the palette.

Peach Matte Blush = Amour, Gina, Gilda
-Gold Highlighting Blush = Albatross
-Pink Matte Blush = Desire, Mata Hari, Gaiety
-Orgasm Blush (peachy pink with golden shimmer)

I really cannot warm up to Camden Chic - I don't like how creamy the Mattene finish is. I adore MAC satins but this one is just too soft and it more fiddly to apply. Has anyone else found this?

The colour is fine, but I know I won't reach for this much if at all. If anyone would like to swap, please let me know.

I do like the pure matte finish twice as much, unfortunately. I wish I liked this one more.
My Camden Chic arrived in the mail today. Sadly, I will have to agree with you on this. I have never seen a mattene this creamy. GEEZ! I had mine on for about a couple of hours this evening when I was literally able to WIPE it off with a piece of tissue like it was lipgloss. Barely any stain left. Seriously. I am HIGHLY disappointed with this finish. Audrey, if Camden Chic is your first Mattene then please don't judge all of them based on this color. I own several and every other one I own is just as good and/or better than the NARS Pure Matte Lipsticks and comparable to the MAC Satin finishes. This is just ridiculous!! AND I used it on top of the Prep + Prime and I think it makes the 'slippage' even worse. I have never seen anything like it.

On top of that, the color really isn't all that great on me. I tried wearing it first with Current Lip Liner then Chestnut. I think it is a little too close to my skin tone so it really doesn't stand out at all. Looks kind of blah. I've had this problem before though with colors like Paramount and Photo. They don't do anything on me. I have discovered that with my skintone, colors need to either be sheer, vibrant, or deep dark (like a brown I look better in is Underworld). Colors that are more 'muted' or mid-tone just don't stand out to me and MAC costs too much for me not to have a color that is going to pop. Looks like I will have to return it. *sigh*

I don't feel too bad though. It means I can hopefully get the Styleseeker nail polish which is quite lovely sooner than I thought.

I also went to the mall and picked up Worldly Wealth blush. Now that is a beautiful color and nothing like I own. Comes off kind of a champagne color on my skin.

Ok, I dropped by Macy's earlier checked out the collection. I intended to buy a lot more than what I did...My final haul was:

MAP
Hidden Treasure
Ready to Roam
Fashion Nomad

I already own:

C-Thru
Richground
Eden Rouge
Dark Diversion

I had intended to get all three blushes, local wares, and Eclectic Edge, but I haven't used Rivera Life from "Hey Sailor" and Avenue from "shop cook" yet so I passed on those. Supercontinental looked too similar to either Peaches or Peachykeen. Both of which I have. It wasn't a "must have" for me. Worldly Wealth looked more like format or light over dark so I passed on that too. Hey, at least I spent less money! lol. The artist that helped me had this BANGIN eye working. She combined MAP and culturalized and complimented it with black winged liner. It was gorgeous. She sold me on MAP with that eye. Culturalized is basically Brule and Romp so you really don't need that one. I thought MAP would be similar to paradisco and saddle, but boy was I wrong! It's totally different and worth having!

I honestly think that you just got a dud. Many people LOVED Stunner last year. I could swirl and swirl and swirl my brush and apply and nothing would show up more than a hint of color. A few months ago I scraped the entire top layer off (because even though I swirled over and over again, you could barely see any wear) and now it actually works! It was like it was too compacted or something. I know it wasn't ruined because there was no grease on it or anything.. it just was a VERY hard powder.  Might be worth a shot?
Yes!!! I had to do this with my Bite of An Apple!!
