As many as you can get :)
I can get 4 at a time from 2 different websites, so that could get out of hand FAST

It took me 6 months to get through my current MSFN, so I'm thinking of getting at least 4. And if it ever shows up at CCOs (unlikely) then I'll be going crazy!

I know 4 seems like a lot, but if you plan to use it daily and you'll never be able to get it again I say go for it.

I'm going to a counter and a store tomorrow afternoon, so I'll see how many I can pick up then!
I also love how the compact has a mirror so I can carry it around for touch-ups on the go

Oh, I was so excited about the BP that I forgot the rest of my order.

I did get all three lipsticks 2 LG & then the others except for PZ which I already have. I've only received the LG lipstick so far & its beautiful and pulls pink on me too. I also got Showgirl which felt a bit gritty, but I love the classic old movie star blue color. Its very different from any other blue es that I have. I will probably get the other shadows Thursday.

From what I was told, one of the reasons the stock was so limited was that its based off of last years sales at this time - which didn't do very well. I understand the business aspect of that but really, they should have factored in that it was MM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! duh

And, for those who read here & you do MAC pro discount & put them up on ebay....MAC is hunting you down & you will lose your discount rights.

I went to my M.A.C store and finally purchase 4 lipsticks and the Beauty Powder. Tomorrow everything will be sold out here so I am glad I could go downtown today. Pigments are highly intense, I am a bit disappointed by the packagings ( I've seen the Carine Roitfeld packagings, they're classy ) but on the whole I am

You were incredibly spot on with it dear

I don't ever want to be without it. Aggh, you would not believe what I went through (a lot of RUDE MAC employees) to get them. I finally had to use one of my contacts to secure the rest. It is NOT easy to get.

Thanks for such an excellent review - I always appreciate it!

ps - I keep running to the mirror to look at my skin

Yeah, this was the wrong week for the ravenous makeup beast in me to fight for the right to have a BU party. I get the feeling I'll start feeling like I'm in rationing mode all too soon, but I'll just let the inner faith part of me handle the fear of running out

I really do believe this is a growing trend. When I go out to the most stylish avant guard clubs and galleries here in L.A., I see more and more young girls with an etherial Lene Lovich look, with flowing silk dresses and pale pale matte faces with matte red lips and strong cheeks - very YSL 1978 style. After all these years of bronzers and now the almost naked face, it's only a matter of time before bone china comes back full force!!

I'm borderline NC (I have my pinky undertones too) and I love the BP! I use it as a finishing powder and it gives a nice glow - it is rather matte but in that case, Lightscapade comes in handy to sweep on top the cheekbones, forehead and cupid's bow to give some highlight back to the face (if you don't want to go completely matte). Another option is the liquid strobe cream (which is permanent and amaaazing!) - just apply that after primer but before foundation and it'll be a nice glow from within!

I'm NC15 and the peach in it brightens my sallow undertones very nicely. It's got a pretty matte and opaque coverage, but still is a soft look when worn all over.
I should at least take a look at BP IRL. Thank you, ladies! =D

Thank you, Liba!

I've some redness in my cheek - do you think it would work in evening them out a bit?

I'm also not a fan of the completely matte look on me - I think it makes me look old, so I hope it still has some kind of diffusor look going on!
NO! I am old (53) & it doesn't make me look old or older

it does the reverse

You girls are terrible lol. I really can't afford to spend a dime (son's party in a few weeks) but I called my counter and reserved 2 BP's. Now to call my Mom and let her know that can be my early Xmas gift :) I'm NW10 so I can't wait to see how it'll look on me.
