Well, the thing about being a spokesperson for Viva Glam is that they have to be outspoken and committed to being in the fight against AIDS, and there are still people out there who aren't. I cannot speak for the attitudes of any of the suggested celebrities, but bear in mind that there are some who do not want their name and AIDS seen together, even in this day and age.

I LOVED the Dare to Wear collection and did NOT buy enough of it! I'd certainly love more.

Katy Perry definitely has a very tightly put-together and specific look - a little glam/burlesque, a little girly, a little punk, and a little humor. Has she already aligned herself with any makeup brand? I know there was some O•P•I stuff with her name, but i haven't noticed any other branding (maybe i don't read the "right" magazines :)

EDIT: And i'd love to have the Digi-Pop Dazzle lipsticks and lipglasses - which were release around the same time as Dare to Wear - back for another shot. Glamourous Glitter is Good!

I don't think she has...but I know she has worn MAC in the past...specifically from the Hello Kitty collection, she even had the black Hello Kitty face from the collection attached to her outfit.

I can't believe Elizabeth Taylor wasn't.

Aww thanks sweetie! 3N and CYY were the ones that I wanted, but I still missed out on CYY lol.. :( 3N is a real staple. It isn't too pale nor too dark. It is right in the middle and it is pink enough to not look so concealer. I am really happy to be able to get another tube! I scraped what I could and put it into a contact lens container lol.

Im over nicki. Next person please
I totally agree. And if the next one is like to Pink Friday, then does it just repeat VG Gaga?

Lana would be great, I don't care for her music but love her look. They should bring back a past spokesperson (Shirley Manson, RuPaul) and give them their own VG!

She was quite outspoken, raising funds for AIDS research even back when little was known about it and it was even more highly stigmatized than it is now, but I suspect MAC would want a living person for the Viva Glam line. She'd be a good glam star to base a collection on, though, with her famous violet eyes.

I think Doris Day would be a good Viva Glam representative - a glamorous screen star, who lost a very good friend, Rock Hudson, to AIDS. I just found out that earlier this year she wrote a letter of support to the riders and roadies of AIDS/LifeCycle 2012

That would be awesome, but MAC seems to be set on pop stars.

I think the following months will be hard on my money, I mean all the cosmetics companies have some kind of sales ( I couldn`t resist walgreen revlon`s buy 1 get 1 free) and while I`m excited about so many collections coming up I`m kinda stressed about funding all these, still happy with all the news though

I'm happy that so many collections come out. I just have to choose wisely what I will pick. But it's exciting to have so much choice, especially as all the MAC collections are so different, both in terms of products and what complexions they will suit best.

OT: Would anyone know what I need to do in order to get my emoticans, colors and quotes back to normal? I'm at my mom's house and for some reason my message boards aren't working correctly and it's driving me nuts. I appreciate everyone's input on how I can fix these issues.
Are you using the same computer? I had similar issues between computers.

I love it too but it seems like a lot of work. If I use three colours I'm impressed with myself.
Me too, but I practically need instructions and a road map for more than three colors. Thank God for video tutorials.
