They would dry out for sure..i thought about that earlier but im curious would they dry out quicker?
It's not a good idea. You want to keep a tight lid on them. They would dry out within a few weeks.Has anyone tried putting paint pots into the 12/24 palette inserts?
I'm curious: Are you not using the Pro refills (or depot the LE ones)? This seems to be much easier.Lipsticks
I had mone in the pots from gratis and from the LE colours like florida and optimistic orange. I actually depotted em and put them in the blush palette.I'm curious: Are you not using the Pro refills (or depot the LE ones)? This seems to be much easier. Having said that, I still prefer my CBB's in compacts as they tend to dry out very fast and become difficult to blend.

e/s or blushes?I'm planning on getting at least one in January and then start buying one or two a month until I'm done.
I have 2 of the old style palettes - 1 of them is full, the other has 4 in them. I'll probably depot into that one as well until I can afford to get 2 new ones to replace them. My OCD will go nuts unless they're all the same and as I need so many my chances of finding that many old style palettes are slim.
I plan on organising by colour, but how do you guys arrange them? Lightest to darkest? A-Z? Can't decide how I'll do it.
Eyeshadows. Not ready to depot my blushes yet.e/s or blushes?
For e/s, I prefer to group them in quads. It makes it also much easier when you travel. I don't think it takes up too much space, but I find it way more organized. HTHEyeshadows. Not ready to depot my blushes yet.
How do you organise the quads? Sorry for so many questions. 4 in the same colour family, or do you organise it by preferred looks to do with them? I organize by colour. One colour per palette.e/s or blushes?
I do the quads by looks and organize the 15s by color (e.g. neutrals). However, I prefer the quads as they are much easier to use; and they are much easier to clean. 15s can get quite dusty. Or I could maybe do the 15s and have a few spare quads for travel purposes?

I use a metal makeup spatula. Works like a charm! A sturdy, thin butter knife would work great too.Speaking of depotting, I'd rather not have to puncture the bottom of the pot, so I'm looking for a tool or something I can use to slide between the pan and the pot, to separating the pan after the glue has been loosened up a bit. Anyone know?
i think someone mentioned using an eyeglasses screwdriver on here, but i couldn't find one so i've made do with a cardboard cutter. but you have to be careful of course!Speaking of depotting, I'd rather not have to puncture the bottom of the pot, so I'm looking for a tool or something I can use to slide between the pan and the pot, to separating the pan after the glue has been loosened up a bit. Thanks! I have all three of those, so I'll give them a try. Maybe I'll have a one-woman depotting party over the holiday break!Speaking of depotting, I'd rather not have to puncture the bottom of the pot, so I'm looking for a tool or something I can use to slide between the pan and the pot, to separating the pan after the glue has been loosened up a bit.
