I got 2 of my lippies today. And one of someone else's. it had my address on the outside, and their packing slip on the inside. I thought about calling MAC, but then I thought the other person might never get their lipstick if I do that, and I have their address and phone number, so I just called them and told them I'd send it along to them. I thought about how sad I'd be I someone else got mine. Gotta build up the makeup karma, lol. I LOVE PaPa!!!
that was so awesome!

So, as an FYI, I called my Mac freestanding store and was again told 1/3. However the sales person said they had the collection in and would hold items for me until 1/3. I mentioned to her that some stores have already released, but she said they had not been told to yet. Anyhow, an hour later she calls me back and said they are releasing it now! Go figure.
Whatever the reason for all of the confusion surrounding the release date, it was nice that she called you back and didn't just leave you hanging /waiting.

Thank you so much! I take the pictures myself. No tripod just keep clicking away until i feel satisfied. Lol i really dont know what im doing. never took photography classes so im still playing around with the settings
Then you're doing a good job playing with settings and getting a great result----

Did any woc get taupe shape blush and is it showing on their skin. T described equilibrium and pressed amber as the closest is that correct? If it is something that will not show on woc I will not try to hunt it.
Taupe Shape is much more cool toned, it doesn't have the warm undertones of Pressed Amber. It will probably not show up on skintones darker than NC35, if it does, it will look very shimmery. I can't remember who said it but it looked ashy on her skin.

I totally agree. TS is much cooler.

I'm not sure why T compared TS somehow to Equilibrium or Pressed Amber.

They don't look anything alike as they are not in the same color family. At all! TS is cool-toned and E and PA are rather warm.

I love T for her swatches, but I don't often agree with her comparisons. Also I find her swatch gallery color categories a bit mismatched.

She probably couldn't think of anything else to compare it to hehe. Cool-toned contour blushes are a bit of a rare commodity (at least I can't seem to find any). I'm very happy that TS will join my collection but I'm still on the lookout for a taupe contour shade sans shimmer. I'm seriously considering buying Fashion Fix PLW e/s to use for contouring. Whether or not it's a good idea is another story

I think so too and I also think that she expected people to ask how those would compare to TS. I'm curious to see how TS will work out as a contour on me.

I was thinking of incorporating some gold in my eye look. I'm way way open to suggestions

You could always do a neutral bronze smokey eye and add some gold shimmer or gold glitter on top (Gilt by Association, or the MAC Pro Gold Glitter)...I was thinking of doing this for NYE as well! This look looks especially well with a red lip or any other bright lip :)

Here's me last night with Party Parrot with Candy-Yum-Yum on the center with a clear gloss on top. Giving you Manila Luzon realness -- LOL.

If you bought the Carine Roitfeld quads, you *might* skip AW and IS quads. While they are not exact dupe, they come close in color scheme. I still prefer the CR quads though as the texture is just lovely + it comes with a blush in an awesome color.
Someone gifted me the CR 'Jungle' kit and the eyeshadow quad is my absolute favorite go-to for a smokey eye. Love it!
